Yeonjun lay on the cold, earthy ground, his head resting heavily on Beomgyu's lap. The atmosphere in the forest was eerily silent. It smelled of dampness and decay as Beomgyu gently brushed the orange hair from his unconscious friend's pale face. His gaze was fixed on Yeonjun's face, but his eyes seemed to look through him, as if peering into another world. The weight of concern for his friends pressed heavily on his shoulders, and even in this moment of calm, he couldn't shut off his worry. His heart pounded rapidly and irregularly as he tried to push aside thoughts of the dangers surrounding them.

The love Beomgyu felt for his friends was reflected in every tender touch, even if he was barely aware of it. His hand continued to caress Yeonjun's hair gently, as if this simple gesture could chase away his worries and fears. But reality was merciless, and Beomgyu knew they had a long and perilous journey ahead.

Still, he clung to this small, intimate gesture as if it would give him the strength to continue.

Suddenly, Yeonjun jolted upright, his body tensing as if struck by an invisible electric shock. His eyes fluttered wildly before he slowly sat up and gathered his bearings. His gaze met the worried expression in Beomgyu's eyes, and he felt the weight of their situation spreading through him.

Yeonjun furrowed his brow as he recalled the events he had just experienced through the connection with Shadow. The escape from the mysterious strangers who had suddenly appeared, and the fear he had felt for the guys. "They're in danger," he said, his breath heavy as he placed his fingers gently on Beomgyu's cheek. He felt the fear in the boy and swallowed hard. "Your friends, they... I don't know if they'll make it."

"What!?," Beomgyu exclaimed, his eyes wide. His heart raced, a mix of panic and determination filling him. Without hesitation, he rose from the damp forest floor and helped Yeonjun to his feet.

"We need to get back to the factory," Beomgyu said firmly. He couldn't allow anything to happen to his friends, not now, not after everything they had been through together.

"Beomgyu, those people are already with them," Yeonjun finally said, his legs still weak. The switch into Shadow's body had drained his limbs, and he reached for the boy's hand. "I couldn't warn your friends. Soobin is about to attack those people." The tremor in his voice shook Beomgyu, just as the information burned into his mind like fire.

Beomgyu's heart stopped for a moment as Yeonjun's words reached him. A wave of anxiety and horror overwhelmed him as he imagined the danger his friends were facing. His breath became shallow as he tried to control the rising panic and think clearly. He couldn't just sit back and watch as his friends were in peril. To him, they were like family, and he was ready to do whatever it took to protect them.

The urge to act immediately was overwhelming, despite the warnings and impending danger. Beomgyu's heart pounded wildly in his chest, and his mind was resolute not to waste any time. Without another word, he let go of Yeonjun's hand and charged forward, his body a speeding arrow toward his goal.
