Chapter Eleven: Our New Place

Izzy and I go our separate ways to explore the area. Izzy goes off to the kitchen well I stay in the first room.

The first room you see when you walk in is a decent sized living room with big windows looking out into the black lake. You can see the creatures swimming past. The big couch is a deep emerald green, the chairs are deep cobalt blue.. The throw pillows on the couch and chairs are a mix of the green and blue. There is one big picture over our fireplace that is of a forest. All of the books we both had brought fill half of the bookcases on the walls. There is a round rug with a small round coffee table in the middle of the room. Plants and vines all over.

There is a hallway leading off to one side of the room. And on the other side there is a big archway that leads to the kitchen. The kitchen isn't very big and has no windows but is cute and light. On the opposite side of the kitchen is a hallway. Near the hallway is a table with chairs. Some hanging plants and vines making it feel a little more homey.

I go down the hallway in the living room. There is a small bathroom almost right as you go in the hallway. Going down the hall I find two more bathrooms as well as four pretty huge empty rooms.

I go through the kitchen to the other hallway. I find another small bathroom. I then find two bedrooms, and another bathroom but this one is huge. It's right in between the two bedrooms.

I find Izzy in the one room the windows must be enchanted to look like outside near her mother's home. Because it looks almost like a desert. Her room is very light and open. Her desk is on the wall next to the door and her closet is across from her bed. Bowie's plant is on her desk in the corner. Besides that her desk is empty.

"This is really nice Izzy." I tell her

She must have not heard me because she jumps. She turns to look at me eyes wide. She calms down once she sees me.

"Mae you scared me!" She yells at me.

"Sorry" I laugh

"I enchanted the window to look like home..." She tells me "I added the lights and plants...plus you know my favorite fluffy blanket."

"It's nice." I tell her "It's cute and cozy."

"I'm going to sleep soon." She tells me "I suggest you do the same."

"True," I hug her "Goodnight Izzy."

"Goodnight Maeve."

I go to the room two doors down. I gasp seeing the room. It's beautiful. Misty is laying on the bed of course. The room is already set up. The windows were enchanted to show the forest. Plants and candles placed in the room. The bed up on a platform in front of the windows. A walk in closet on the same wall as the entrance to the room. A desk on the same wall as the bed.

I finally go look at the bathroom. It's huge. It's bigger than I had originally thought. I brush my teeth then climb into bed. I bury my face into Misty's fur cuddling deeper into my blanket before I finally fall asleep.
