title: The Cloaked
••••••
Lloyd's POV:
Today is awfully boring - no crime, no nothing. Ever since Harumi died, no one has thought to scheme or do anything remotely illegal which is strange and suspicious.
Every day I wake up paranoid thinking that something is about to happen but my fears never come true, which although a good thing, makes me worry even more.
I don't want criminals to just slip by me or for us to miss some kind of hidden evil operation which might cause the near end of the world which, mind you, has happened all too many times.
But yet, I've given up on preparing just like everyone else. If I were to ask my team about that however, they ever wouldn't dare to admit it.
Kryptarium is overpopulated. It's for the best. Crime ruined many lives and caused many deaths - enough people were lost.
You know, I should probably look on the bright side - we have enough time to be normal.
I should check on the others. There isn't much else to do anyways.
"Hey, guys."
"Heyyy!", Kai laughed while greeting me, "You were down there for a long time, everything OK?"
"Yeah... I was just getting something from my room.", I was staring at pictures of the past - it's hard not to reminisce about people that used to care about you or you used to care about. Thinking about that, I remember the recent battles with the Sons of Garmadon, and the Oni which I never really was sure we actually defeated. But anyways, there's no use losing my mind over that theory.
The others were talking to each other and having fun. Kai and Cole were trying to see who could do a headstand the longest, Jay and Nya were surprisingly sparring, Zane was just staring at the sky and I was now sitting on the bench, deciding to do nothing.
"Hello, Lloyd.", Zane greeted as he sat down next to me. "Something is falling from the sky.", I looked where he was staring. "I can't see anything...", I said squinting. Zane just shrugged. That was random.
We stood there for a while. I decided to just watch the others do what they were doing.
"What's the time...?", I asked.
"Six forty-five ante meridiem."
"Thanks."
So less than fifteen minutes have passed by. Time moves extremely slowly nowadays.
Suddenly I heard Nya angrily shout, "Jay!"
"Sh... Wait...", his palm was on her face, she slapped his hand off and glared at him.
