"Got it, got it!"

"The kind of love where I only like you!"

Oh my gosh.

A drunken Zhou Miao is so hard to handle!

After a lot of effort, I finally managed to get Zhou Miao into bed, and as soon as my head hit the pillow, I fell asleep.

When I woke up again, Zhou Miao was no longer in the dorm.

After I finished washing up, he came back with breakfast in hand.

He placed the breakfast on my desk before I could say anything.

Before I could speak, he said first, "Thank you for last night."

Me: "..."

So, he remembered everything.

Oh well, at least I wasn’t the one embarrassed.

Bai Mao is way too obsessed with gossip.

The first thing he did when he woke up was call me.

"Oh my god, I heard that Yue Youyou got Zhou Miao drunk yesterday, confessed to him, and got rejected on the spot!"

I covered the receiver, looked at Zhou Miao who was eating, then put on my earphones.

"Yue Youyou even dragged you into it! I can't believe how shameless she is!"

I responded with a simple "mm" to show I was listening.

Bai Mao then asked, "So, what happened between you and Zhou Miao yesterday?"

Ever since he found out that Zhou Miao had been pursuing me, Bai Mao has been enthusiastic about playing matchmaker.

I vaguely replied, "Not much."

Bai Mao made a noise in response and didn’t press further, chatting a bit more before suggesting we go out in the afternoon.

After hanging up the phone, I couldn’t help but replay yesterday's events in my head.

My face started heating up again.

I patted my cheeks and comforted myself:

People live their lives; it’s normal to appreciate beauty unless you're a saint.

---

I bought some clothes, and by the time I returned, it was already dark.

Passing by the basketball court, Bai Mao peeked in and said, "I think Zhou Miao is in there!"

Just as he was speaking, I heard a swoosh.

Turning around, a ball smacked right into my forehead, and I stumbled to the side.

The ball hit the ground and bounced twice.

It was a basketball.

"Shen Mo!" Bai Mao shouted, rushing to support me. "Are you okay?"

My head spun.

Bai Mao's voice was urgent: "Quick, to the hospital!"

He helped me up, and after taking just a few steps, we heard someone running toward us.

In the next moment, my feet left the ground, and I was being carried.

One hand supported my head, gently resting on a shoulder.

It smelled like Zhou Miao’s shampoo.

Zhou Miao was strong and tall, not princess-carrying me but holding my legs and waist with one hand, supporting my back with the other, his palm hovering protectively over my forehead.
