Bani woke up and sat straight on the bed blinking her eyes as the morning came. She quietly slipped out of bed, then looked at Veeranshu who was sleeping sound looking as innocent as angel well she knows this man is nothing near innocent.Shaking her thoughts, she gathered her clothes and went into the bathroom.
After her bath, Bani stood before the mirror, as she wiped her hairs, making her damp hair sway.A drop of water slid from her hair and landed right on Veer's face. He groaned in his sleep.
"Ugh," Veer muttered, brushing at his face.
Bani smirked, enjoying the minor irrigation caused to him. She walked over to the window and pulled it open fully, allowing the sunlight to enter the room.
The sudden rush of light made Veer sit up, blinking in confusion. Irritation flashed across his face as he was about to shout at whoever dared disturb his sleep, but his voice froze in his throat.
Before him, Bani stood near the window, her face lifted towards the sun, eyes closed, as if she were praying. Her damp hair glistened, catching the sunlight in a way that made her glow, her skin reflecting a soft golden hue. Veer's breath hitched.
For a moment, it felt surreal, like a dream he had been waiting for through lifetimes. Was this his reality? Did he really marry her-the woman he had waited for, loved for ages?
"Yeh sapna toh nahin?" Veer whispered to himself, his gaze locked on her, completely entranced. She was the most beautiful vision he had ever seen.
Bani, unaware of Veer's gaze, continued her morning prayer, her mind already on the day ahead.

At the breakfast table, the atmosphere was lively as usual, with Veer's cousins, Ponky, Monil, and Daksh, cracking jokes and sharing stories and Mayuri was seated beside Veer. Her business partner was out for some work.
Mayuri leaned in a little closer to Veer, her tone playful. "Veer, mujhe lagta hai tumhe apne busy schedule se break lena chahiye. Last time humne dinner pe itna maza kiya tha... ab phir kab le jaa rahe ho?"
Veer glanced at her with not very interest "Haan, dekhte hain," he replied, his voice flat.
Undeterred, Mayuri flicked her hair back and giggled. "Tum kitne serious ho gaye ho Veer. Tumhare saath toh time kab nikal jaata tha pata hi nahi chalta." Her fingers brushed lightly against his arm, but Veer stiffened slightly, clearly uncomfortable.
Bani watched this from her seat, but her face remained impassive, not giving away any of the irritation building inside her.
Veer, sensing Bani's eyes on them, cleared his throat and subtly moved his arm away. "Haan, bas kaam ka pressure zyada hai aaj kal," he said, trying to sound nonchalant. "Waise bhi, ab main kisi aur ke saath busy hoon," he added, his eyes flicking towards Bani for a moment, a small smile playing on his lips.
Mayuri didn't miss the glance. Her smile faltered, but she quickly recovered. Turning to Bani, she tried a different approach. "Toh Bani, tumhari aur Veer ki shaadi kaafi interesting rahi hogi, right? I mean, suddenly sab kuch ho gaya."
Bani took a sip of water, her eyes meeting Mayuri's. "Haan, sab kuch jaldi ho gaya," she replied curtly, keeping her tone neutral.
Mayuri tilted her head, her smile returning. "Acha? Well, kabhi kabhi toh aise surprises achhe hote hain. Tumhe toh pata hi hoga, Veer kitna romantic hai."
Bani placed her glass down, her voice firm but calm. "Whatever "
Veer, watching this exchange with mild amusement, well to save the situation he jumped in . "Waise Mayuri," he said, his tone now edged with irritation he tried to hide, " tumhe travel kaafi pasand hai?"
