“Where are we supposed to report?”
She asked him firmly, as she took long steps to make up for the delay. She was on the stairs of the first floor, just about another fleet away from her destination on the second floor.
“In Ward 21 first. The attendance is marked first there and then we have to go to our respective wards which will be allotted to us today itself.” Her classmate informed her on the call.
She quickly paced up and finally reached the door to the Medicine Ward.
With one swift movement, she opened the big gate. And as soon as she was about to take her first step inside, she was distracted by the sight in front.
She lifted her head to look up at the figure who walked in front of her.
It was a decent, yet devastatingly handsome man. He almost took her breath away.
She had to hold the railing of the door handle to support herself. She was just one step short of bumping into him and embarrassing herself.
God. I need to stop embarrassing myself. I'm clumsy as fuck.
She tilted her head to look more intently. He was tall, gorgeously handsome and hot, like the complete package at the same time.
A new crush is incoming. God. Help me.
She was the first one to reach for the Postings; she was the most punctual of the batch. And it was too early to even spot any doctor in the ward.
But who was this guy?
As much as she thought of stepping aside and evading him, she was more drawn to Him.
He went inside the doctor's room in front of her, on her right side. She took a step back and opened her bag, taking out her spectacles.
She wore her glasses and took a closer look at that man. His face looked as if it was carved out from some painting. The features were so sharp, it was too unbelievable that he was a doctor at a scum place like this.
I can never forget this face. Is he new here? I have interacted with all the doctors here but didn't see him before.
He was definitely not one of the interns. Nope, too handsome to be a student.
She wanted to pry on him. He was the most handsome man she'd ever laid her eyes on. She wanted to stalk him, talk to him, and watch him all day long.
Shamelessly ravish his sight until she could soak wet in his proximity. She kept staring at him, making it so obvious that she liked him. But she was unabashed, unafraid even if he caught her staring.
The new resident doctor was inside the room, taking out something from his bag. She waited for him outside to finish his job and then leave the room, so that she could look at him again as he came closer.
And also she herself had to keep her bag in that room before she reported to the precedent teacher for attendance.
He was wearing a light cyan blue colour shirt and dark grey skinny jeans. The material of the shirt must have been cotton; for she could see his sweat marks on his back as he turned around to walk out of the room. She smelled her fragrance as he walked past. It was neither any strong cologne nor any soothing musk.
It was just the aroma of love. Like the human pheromones which instantly made her heart race and gave her butterflies in her stomach. That insane attraction she felt towards him; even a stoic person like her could not ignore that chemistry.
Her heart skipped beats and her chest ached; with the pain of longing and belonging.
His magnetic aura literally made her drool over his sight. She wondered what it would feel to touch him, embrace him, feel him.
