“Did you stalk my Instagram account?”
He texted her after wishing her a good morning in her direct messages.
He noticed how she had started to even post on her Instagram again and he reacted to every one of her spam stories.
She was genuinely happy and loved to post and now even more because she was stepping out of her shell again.
“You should, because I did yours.” He confessed.
This guy was so damn cute and honest and blunt. It made her feel intimidated, but in a good way. He was emotionally vulnerable and open to her, from the first instance itself.
But what he didn't know was that she specially logged into her deactivated account just for him. She couldn't miss this chance to stalk him. She had prayed for this, and he was her answered prayer.
And she also found out that his band-like tattoo was actually a quote.
Hope.
He was quite an optimistic person. Probably more than her. And she sensed that healing aura in him. Even the way he attended his patients, spoke a lot about his values.
And by now she was sure that he didn't have a girlfriend. That was some big relief honestly.
And she also knew and trusted him that he wasn't the polygamy or player kind. Something about him just made her trust his idealistic character.
Although they spoke only for a day, he had even decided on a nickname for her. He gave her two options and made her choose one.
He was super creative with his suggestions. And she felt so honoured by his creativity.
“Please don't address me as sir, especially when we're not in the hospital. Of course with time you can give me a nickname too. I would love that. Don't be formal with me please.”
She was so accustomed to formalities that she didn't know what to call him.
Nickname? My name is whatever you decide, I'm just going to call you mine. Probably love or baby.
He had opened up to her so soon and in such a short time and trusted her so much that it made her feel like she had known him since ages. But yet, she wanted to take her sweet time and not jump to conclusions and scare him by confessing her vivid desires.
She was so proud and so much in admiration of him. She could only believe the amount of hard work he must have done for the exam and to go study in a foreign country.
He was definitely a great guy. So determined, so focused, knew exactly what he wanted. And being ambitious was the sexiest thing to her.
It made her feel sad too, because of course she would miss him. But she didn't tell him anything.
Let's live in the moment and I just want to hold every minute I spend with him, so, so so close to my heart.
That day, she was roaming around without her mask in the ward. She wished him the moment she saw him. He smiled back at her.
“Where is your mask? Why aren't you wearing it? You'll catch infections and fall sick.” He scolded her.
The usual sensitive her would have hated anyone who would scold her in this tone. But she literally melted and couldn't stop smiling at him.
She immediately went and fetched a mask from the counter. “Sorry sir”, she mumbled, pretending to be scared of him.
She was happy because him scolding her only made her feel conscious and aware that he cared for her.
