Medicine Postings were extremely fun and interesting now.

She would otherwise mind waking up at 5 AM to reach the hospital by 8:30 AM. But now, she would always look forward to the next day, just to have a glimpse of him.

Life was a sweet fairytale and she couldn't believe how magical it was.

Her crush asked her name and even remembered it!

She reached the hospital even earlier and quickly went to the wards without wasting a single moment. She wanted to be there before he did.

The ward had just opened and the cleaning staff was busy mopping the floor.

She stood outside the doctor's room, waiting for them to finish. Impatiently, she was looking outside towards the gate.

Just then, she saw him enter.

He was wearing his scrubs again and the moment their eyes met, the corners of his eyes turned upwards and he gave her his warmest, sweetest smile.

Her heart melted. Again.

Everyday she was falling for him even more and more.

She wished him and smiled back. But probably he didn't see her blush because of her mask.

She went inside as soon as the staff left, and kept her bag on the shelf this time, because he hadn't entered the room yet.

And just when she turned, she noticed him standing right behind her.

“Where do you stay? Are you a hosteler or a native?” He asked out of the blues. “You are always the first one to come before your peers.”

“Sir, I'm a native. I change multiple metroes to reach here and have to wake up early to make it on time.” She replied courteously.

“Oh great, means you must be well versed with the authentic dialect.”

“I hope so.” She tilted her head and leaned back on the shelf.

“Listen, what is your number?” That was quick and straight forward. He opened his Contacts app gave her phone to her.

How can he trust me with his personal belonging like his phone in my bare hands? He definitely doesn't have a girlfriend.

She quickly typed her number and name without any second thoughts. She was secretly praying for this moment.

Just then, the other batchmates entered the room.  She suppressed her smile and acted normal.

He then began to converse with the other batchmates.

“When are your exams?”

“Sir, just two weeks to go.” The boy replied.

“Yeah, she told me”, he said, gesturing to her.

She sat quietly on one of the empty chairs and pretended to scroll her phone.

She received a missed call on her phone.

Who's this?

“Please save that number.” He said in a low tone and left the room.

She didn't consider taking cold coffee since the last few days. Because he was literally spending his entire salary on this stupid dumb shitty thing which was complete charity in the name of being considerate to his juniors.
