RUDRA'S POV.
The meeting went longer than expected. Sometimes, I want to knack some senses in the brains of these international clients. Can't they think of others' convenience for once? Pushing my thoughts aside, I opened the conference room door and made my way to my cabin.
"Mr. Singh, is there any meeting scheduled for today?" my voice authoritative and devoid of any emotion, rummaging through some files, I asked. "No sir, for today your schedule is clear." Mr. Singh replied, with a professional tone. With a nod, I dismissed him.
When I did feel some presence beside me, I looked up to see Mr. Singh still standing, fiddling with his iPad. I frowned, "Is there something else Mr. Singh that needs my attention ?"Mr. Singh looks up at me with his elderly eyes, "Sir as you know I'm getting old and I think it's my time for retirement. I think you should start looking for another secretary soon so the person could be experienced a bit before I retire."
Dropping the file on the desk, I think about it. That's true, Mr. Singh has been with this company from the time my father joined as a CEO and now that I have taken over the company I think it's time for him to get some rest and enjoy his retirement days.
I look up at him, "You are right Mr. Singh, start the process of finding a new secretary. I hope you'll find someone as trusted and capable of the responsibility as you are." The pair of old eyes Shine with pride and happiness at the acknowledgment of his efforts towards the company and his praise. "Sure, sir. I'll start right away." I nodded and shifted my focus to the file.
As soon as the files were cleared, I made my way to my car. As I made my way to the parking lot, I could hear the whisperings of the female employees, fanning over my looks. Do they get paid for fangirling over me?
Once I reached the car, I gestured for the driver to leave as I wanted to drive the car. The driver left with a bow and I settled in the car. With a rumble, the engine came to life and I sped through roads to where Shivaay and his family were going for his marriage offer.
After god knows how much later I found the house and was parking my car when a white Audi blocked the way of parking. I was angry, firstly I was late and now this car. Can't he just take another spot for parking?!
The horn of the car was piercing through my ears, with a lot of patience, I got out of the car and gestured to the driver to do the same. I was furious, very very furious. I didn't care if in broad daylight someone gets a punch on the jaw.
What made me more furious was the fact that the driver of the car didn't even come out and that was the last straw of my patience. I walked over to the car door and knocked on the window.
The car owner came out and my breath hitched in my throat. God! She's beautiful no no no she's divine and her iced chocolate eyes hold some kind of power in them that they held my breath so effortlessly.
She snapped her fingers in front of me and I realized I was staring like a goddamn teenage boy in love! God! That's embarrassing. Clearing my throat I said "So miss...." sensing the unasked question she replied "Srashti" I was so lost in her voice it held so much power over me that I almost lost the sense to ask further but I maintained my composure and continued "So miss Srashti, if you don't mind i would like to park my car here, so kindly park your car somewhere elsewhere. thank you for your cooperation." and i turned to my car.
"I think your ears need a medical check-up, don't worry I know a good doctor, he might help you." her voice made me stop in my tracks and words made me look at her with a questioning look. "what do you mean Srashti?" i asked, unable to keep myself from asking.
"Neither I said I'll move my car from here nor I'll park somewhere else, mr. ....." she raised an eyebrow, asking my name. She doesn't know my name!? I mean I'm not saying that she should fangirling over me but till now every girl I had met, had known me or would be dead by my looks and here she doesn't even know my name. "Rudra Singhania" I said calmly, despite the inner turmoil of how a girl doesn't know my name when every girl is practically simping over me.
"So, Mr. Singhania, I would like to inform you that, I am not going to budge from my spot, that's practically own by me." she replied, calmly, in contrast to the fire blazing in her eyes. Sighing, I relcutantly agreed and nodded.
I am Rudra Singhania and I don't give up easily, I saw this place first and i'm gonna park my car here. I told her to move her car a bit back so that I can take my car out and she can park her car there, to which she nodded and opened the car door to set in. Meanwhile, I turned around and smirked at the idea of fooling an innocent and sweet girl.
As soon as I settled in the the car, I motioned her to move her car back to which she complied. As she reversed her car and enough space was created for me to park the car, I grabbed the opportunity and parked my car. Poor innocent and sweet girl, didn't even got chance to react quickly.
I smirked and walk out of the car and she too did the same. I could practically see her eyes turning red with anger. God! she looks even cuter when she's all riled up. "Mr. Singhania, yeh kya baadtameezi hai? " she growled in anger. "Well, miss Srashti, you see I was in quite hurry, so I wouldn't be able to find another spot to park the car, so if you don't mind, kindly find another one for yours."
She didn't said anything and went towards her car and began to settle in. I smirked and turned around, I knew no girl could resist my looks and my personality. She's no exception to i-
*SMASH*Now what was that? I turned around and my jaw dropped. SHE LITERALLY SMASHED MY CAR'S WINDSHIELD WITH A FREAKING CRICKET BAT!? " ARE YOU FREAKING OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" I yelled at her. To which she just smirked and replied nonchalantly, "Well, you see, Mr. Singhania, my cricket bat has been upset with me for a few days as I haven't used it for a while now. Toh maine socha ab mauka bhi hai aur dastoor bhi toh kyu na iski naarazgi bhi khatam kar di jaye."
