☼☽"How come you forgot the purse you went to get?" Sylvanna asked in great disbelief, and Ophelia glared at her for having to encounter this topic again.
Aurora sighed loudly, but did not answer the girl, because she herself did not believe that she had forgotten about her property, because of a stupid and short conversation with the boy.
When she entered her dorm that evening, all she wanted was a hot shower and cozy sheets, but when the girls asked her where she kept her purse, she immediately woke up. For a moment Aurora didn't know what they meant, but as she slowly realized what they were asking, she screamed into her pillow in frustration, devastated that she had acted so stupidly. For some reason, Carmen didn't tell her roommates that she met Tom. She thought they would start talking about him, because they didn't like the boy and Aurora didn't want to hear them complaining about Riddle.
"Our Aurora is distracted as usual," Henry added mockingly
Young Carmen rolled her eyes at their stupid taunts and simply elbowed the boy in the side, making him wince at her gentle gesture.
"Oh come on, don't be so angry, you'll get it back. Slughorn will probably tell us right away during class that someone has lost their property," He replied confidently, walking arm in arm with the girl.
"I'm pissed, because I have to see your faces first thing in the morning," Aurora replied sarcastically, and now Henry nudged her lightly in the shoulder. The girl laughed, and thoughts of the missing purse quickly faded away.
All four friends were going to Potions, which this year they unexpectedly combined with Slytherins. When Aurora first saw the lesson plan, she was surprised, because Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw had been taking Potions for five years. Carmen hadn't expected such a change and didn't know where it was coming from, but she couldn't do anything about it. At school, she had no opportunity to direct the schedule. She wasn't a prefect, and her family didn't interfere much in school affairs. She had no power, even if she wanted it very much.
