Caroline walks down into the tomb, her eyes widens at the sight of a coffin. She rushes up and throws the coffin out, she wraps her hand around the hilt and pulls the dagger out

Zara gasps and sits up, looking around

Zara: C-Caroline? What----what happened?

Caroline: Zara, are you okay?

Zara nods her head as Caroline grabs her hand helping her out of the coffin.

Zara: Who daggered me?

Caroline: Shane did this. Zara, I need to tell you something. Something happened.

Zara looks at her in confusion

Zara: What?

Caroline: Kol's dead.

Zara gasps in shock, tears forming in her eyes as her knees weaken making her stumble. Caroline grabs her pulling her into her arms, Zara buries her head in her chest and cries.

Caroline: Shh. It's okay. It's okay, Zara. I got you

She runs her fingers through her hair, kissing the heartbroken girl on top of her head.

GILBERT HOUSE

Elliot and Klaus are still trapped in the living room looking at the burned body of Kol laid out where he fell. A lone tear rolls down Elliot's face.

The back door opens; Caroline and Zara walks inside. Zara slowly approaches Kol's body, she falls down to her knees staring at his body. She whimpers, caressing his face as a tear rolls off her face landing on his.

Klaus: Zara.....

Elliot: You shouldn't be here.

Caroline: Hey, let's take you home

Zara: This place is horrible. Let's cover him up so I can bury him.

Caroline finds a table cloth in a cabinet and she and Zara use it to cover up Kol's body

Klaus: Tyler's mother is dead. So is our brother. We're even. Call Bonnie. Get her to let us out of here.

Elliot: YOU KILLED CAROL LOCKWOOD?!!

Klaus: Tyler had to pay for what he did to my hybrids!

Elliot: That was all him. She was not involved. She was innocent and she was my friend, Klaus!

Caroline: And let's not forget that we're standing in a house where Elena's aunt Jenna used to live. Or did you think that your charm would make us forget how you killed her, too? You know what? No. I am not going to engage in this. You are not even worth the calories I burn talking to you.

Zara: Both of you, stop talking!

Elliot: THANK YOU!!!

Zara: When the spell comes down, grab his body and we'll bury him. Caroline, can you take me to our house?

Zara leaves through the front door with Caroline following close behind. Klaus has a look of confusion on his face

Klaus glares at him while Elliot simply looks smug.

MIKAELSON MANSION

Zara is sitting on her bed crying. Caroline sits down beside her

Caroline: This is a stupid question but are you okay?

Zara: N-no. I'm sorry

Caroline: Don't be. You got nothing to be sorry for, Z. You didn't do anything. This was all that Shane guy.

Zara: Nik killed Carol. She was kind. She didn't deserve that. Two of my brothers are dead. I miss Kol. I even miss Finn

Caroline: Finn hated you. He wanted to kill you

Zara: He never wanted to be a vampire. I understand why he did what he did. I never hated him. I loved him and I miss him.

Caroline: Come here

Zara lunges burying her head in her chest while Caroline wraps her arms around her, caressing her hair sweetly. Zara grips her shirt tightly in her hands.

On the Other Side, Finn and Kol are watching their sister with tears of their own in their eyes.
