Zara is wiping down the kitchen counter when there's a knock at the door, the door opens and she looks up seeing Caroline stepping inside the kitchen

Caroline: Uh, hey

Zara: Hey. What's up?

Caroline: I need your help. I think Silas is in Mystic Falls.

Zara: I'm confused on how this affects me

Caroline: Look. Silas wants to die and be reunited with his one true love, but he's supernatural, so if he takes the cure and dies, he gets stuck on the Other Side.

Zara: How Shakepearian.

Caroline chuckles smiling a small smile

Caroline: : But if he destroys the Other Side altogether, he can take the cure, die, and pass on, but in destroying it, every dead supernatural being will return to our side.

Zara: How do we stop him?

Caroline: Wanna help me out then?

Zara smiles and nods her head.

Zara: I'm always with you, Caroline.

Caroline smiles as she leans her forehead against Zara's who closes her eyes and sighs in content.

Zara: We make a good team, don't we?

Caroline: The best.

SHANE'S OFFICE

Caroline and Zara walks into the office and begins looking through what's inside

Zara: What are we even looking for?

Caroline: Well, if Shane really was working with Silas, chances are he was helping him plan his next move.

Zara: Actually, not to nit-pick, but we evil villains usually use minions to pick up our dry cleaning, that sort of thing.

Caroline: Shut up

Zara turns to look at her, smiling as she leans up on her tip toes giving her a peck on the cheek.

Caroline: Are you sure it's the best idea that Damon and Elliot are with Elena in New York? They're not really the best people for a emotionless vampire to be around

Zara: Elliot can handle Elena if he needs to. I trust him.

Caroline: Okay, sure.

Zara: I think I found something.

She walks over carrying a large book over to the desk

Zara: "Symbolic Figures in the Dark Arts." Didn't Bonnie talk about Expression Triangles? Here.

She points at a large, intricate drawing of a triangle. Caroline reads from the page opposite.

Zara: "In some schools of magic such as Expression, human sacrifice can be used as a focus for power. It is rumored that the addition of two supernatural sacrifices compounds the mystical energy, creating an Expression Triangle."

Caroline: [pointing at a symbol in the drawing] Humans-- that was the council fire. [pointing at another symbol] Demons-- Klaus' hybrid failure.

Zara: What's the other one?

Caroline: Oh no
