Chapter 7: Back to Fairy Tail

Returning to the Fairy Tail guildhall felt like stepping into a different world. The warmth, noise, and chaos were a far cry from the cold, dark mountain caves they had just fought their way out of. Aislyn pulled her cloak tighter around her as they entered, the familiar smell of alcohol, food, and magic hitting her senses.

"Finally!" Natsu's voice boomed from across the hall as he rushed over. "What took you guys so long? Did you find the dark guild? Did you fight a dragon?!"

Aislyn barely had time to respond before Gray sauntered over, shirtless as usual. "I bet Gajeel slowed her down. He's probably too slow to keep up with someone like Aislyn."

Gajeel shot him a withering glare. "You wanna say that to my face, Fullbuster?"

Aislyn smirked, crossing her arms. "Gray's got a point, Ironhead. You do tend to drag things out."

Gray snickered, tossing Aislyn a playful wink. "I'm just saying, if I'd gone with you, we'd have been back here days ago."

Gajeel growled, stepping closer to Gray. "You wanna take this outside?"

Aislyn stepped between them, her hands on her hips, unable to suppress the grin tugging at her lips. "Alright, alright, cut it out, you two." She glanced at Gray, raising an eyebrow. "And Gray, for the love of everything, put on a shirt. You're making me look bad with your constant stripping."

Gray blinked, looking down at his bare chest. "Oh, right." He turned, calling back, "I'll grab one in a second!"

"You're hopeless," Aislyn muttered, shaking her head but chuckling under her breath.

Gray chuckled as he walked off, calling back to her, "You're one to talk, Miss 'I'll just take off my shirt whenever I feel like it.' You two are basically the same."

Aislyn felt her face heat up as Gajeel let out a low laugh. "Got you there, Ice Queen."

She shot him a sideways look, smirking. "Whatever. At least when I strip, it's intentional."
