Chapter 19: The Rift

Aislyn knew something was wrong the moment she walked into the guildhall. Levy hadn't shown up in days, and whispers had started circulating. Gray had mentioned Levy was keeping her distance, and even Lucy seemed worried about her friend's behavior.

But as Aislyn approached the bar, she couldn't shake the feeling that things were about to get worse.

Gajeel, as usual, was sitting near the window, arms crossed over his chest, his expression unreadable.

Aislyn slid into the seat next to him, her gaze flicking to his. "You've seen her yet?" she asked quietly.

Gajeel shook his head. "No. She's been avoiding everyone."

Aislyn frowned, her fingers tapping against the countertop. "This isn't going to blow over, is it?"

Gajeel shrugged. "Not if she keeps holding onto it."

Aislyn sighed, leaning her head against her hand. "I didn't mean for this to happen. I didn't mean to get between you and Levy."

Gajeel's red eyes locked onto hers, a rare softness in his gaze. "Levy's got to get over it, Ais. This... thing between us isn't her business."

Aislyn's heart fluttered at his words, but before she could respond, the doors to the guildhall swung open.

Levy stepped inside, her eyes fixed on Aislyn.

The tension in the guildhall was palpable as Levy strode toward the bar, her eyes never leaving Aislyn. The room seemed to quiet around them, the usual chatter and clamor fading as the confrontation everyone had been waiting for finally came to a head.

Aislyn stood, her heart racing as Levy approached, her face a mask of calm determination, though Aislyn could see the storm raging beneath the surface.

"We need to talk," Levy said, her voice steady but cold.

Aislyn nodded, glancing at Gajeel before following Levy to a quieter corner of the guildhall.

Once they were alone, Levy crossed her arms, her gaze sharp. "I want you to leave, Aislyn."

Aislyn blinked, caught off guard by the bluntness of the statement. "What?"

"You heard me." Levy's voice trembled with barely contained emotion. "I want you to leave Fairy Tail. You've caused enough damage."

Aislyn's heart sank, her mind racing. "I beg you Pardon? Levy, I didn't mean to—"

"It doesn't matter what you meant!" Levy snapped, her voice rising. *"You took him from me!"

Aislyn stared at her, guilt and frustration warring inside her. "Bitch, Gajeel was never yours, Levy." Aislyn started to giggle

Levy flinched as if Aislyn had struck her, her eyes filling with tears. "Maybe not... but I loved him. And now I've lost him because of you."

Aislyn took a step closer, her voice softening. "I didn't want this, Levy. I never wanted to hurt you but things happen and i can't control how i feel"

But Levy shook her head, her tears spilling over. "It's too late for that, Aislyn. You've already ruined everything. Watch your Back Rivers"

With that, Levy turned and walked away, leaving Aislyn standing alone in the corner of the guildhall, the weight of her words pressing down on her.
