Chapter 18: The Plan Unfolds (Levy's POV)
Levy hadn't gone back to the guild since that morning. Instead, she had holed herself up in her apartment, her mind racing with a thousand thoughts—most of them centering on Aislyn and Gajeel.
She couldn't stop thinking about them—about how they had gotten so close without her even realizing it. All this time, she had been waiting for Gajeel to open up to her, to see her as more than just a friend. But Aislyn had swooped in, loud and brash, and now Levy was the one left in the dust.
It wasn't fair.
Levy's hands trembled as she stared down at the papers scattered across her desk. She couldn't focus on work, couldn't think about anything other than the growing anger bubbling inside her.
Aislyn was the problem. If she hadn't come into Fairy Tail, things would be different. Gajeel would've seen her. He would've realized how much Levy cared for him.
But now, everything was falling apart.
"I won't let her ruin this," Levy whispered to herself, her eyes narrowing with determination.
A plan was already forming in her mind—a way to make Aislyn leave Fairy Tail for good.
