Chapter 23: Stirring Jealousy

Levy hadn't been back to the guild in days. The guild members had noticed her absence, but no one knew exactly what to say about it. Lucy had tried reaching out to her multiple times, but Levy remained distant, retreating further into her thoughts with every passing day.

But in the silence of her apartment, Levy's mind raced with anger, jealousy, and frustration. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw Gajeel and Aislyn together—laughing, training, sharing moments that should have been hers. Aislyn had taken Gajeel from her, and the bitterness that had once been heartbreak was slowly morphing into something darker.

She couldn't let this go. She couldn't just stand by and watch as Aislyn took everything she had dreamed of.

Levy sat at her desk, staring down at a book filled with ancient scripts. Her hands shook slightly as she turned the pages, searching for something—anything—that could give her the power to change things.

"I won't let her win," Levy whispered to herself, her eyes narrowing as she read through the spells. "I won't let her take him from me."

The pages of the book glowed faintly under the dim light of her lamp, the words written in a language Levy barely understood. But she didn't care. All she could think about was making Aislyn disappear.

"She's in the way," Levy muttered, her grip tightening on the book. "And I'm going to make sure she's gone."
