Cameron's Point of View

"Come on I've got places to be and I'm not going to play around with you." I muttered at the boy who was obviously ignoring me. He looked tired and unhealthy but I was just here to move him into a different cell that's all. To my surprise the boy stood up and held his hands out waiting to be cuffed.

"Do you really need to be cuffed?" I chuckled and unlocked the door holding it open for the boy. We walked the whole way in silence I didn't know the boy and he didn't know me but he seemed to be so used to this.

"Why am I changing rooms?" Lillian asked his voice quiet and horse.

"They needed your old one for some new neko's they brought in." I muttered and shut the door behind us. The room was slightly bigger than the one before with a window, of course there were bars but it was better than not having one. There was a bunk bed and a small nightstand in the new room.

"This is my room?" The boy asked as if he thought I was playing with him.

"Yeah..." I muttered before setting the small towel he had in his last room onto the bed.

"Are you hungry? I'm going to go and grab something to eat I don't think they would mind if I borrow you for just a little bit?" I teased.

"No." He said coldly before he crawled into the bed. "I thought you had places to be?" He asked mocking me.

"Shut up I was offering you something to eat... I suppose if you're not hungry I'll just be going." A small smirk growing on my lips.

"Wait, I didn't say I wasn't hungry..." The boy mumbled quietly as he sat up his hair was a dark shade of blue that shined in the light. Even though it was tangled and sticking up in all angles he still managed to look perfect. What am I thinking? I'm just here to get him into his new room and I ended up asking him out on a date... Kind of?

"That's what I thought... Let's go before it gets late." I mumbled and looked in the hall. I wasn't supposed to be taking the boy places he was supposed to stay here and wait to be sold, but I didn't see how a simple meal at the coffee shop could hurt anything.

"They must really trust you? Taking me out of this place." His voice seemed so cold and broken yet I could tell how badly the boy wanted to get out of this place.

"There's no reason for them to think I was going to do anything other." I muttered stuffing my hands into my pockets. Watching as the smaller male made his way to the door. I grabbed my keys from my pockets and shut the door behind us as we walk through the quiet halls.

Just like before we walked in silence all the way to the car.

"Most places aren't open at this hour but I have a friend that works at a local coffee shop here if you don't mind? They have donuts and some smaller things I think you'd enjoy." I mumbled softly starting the car and looking over to check if he had his seatbelt on. I pulled out and started driving it was only a fifteen minute drive, I turned the music on and relaxed noticing how much different the smaller male was acting. His body was turned to the side his knees up against his chest, he looked happy... I guess?

"Do you have any Sleeping with Sirens?" he asked his big blue eyes on me now.

"If you want you can search what you want and play it." I said softly handing him my phone.

He took the phone and soon enough music started to play, a hint of a smile on the boys lips as he hummed to the music. Once we got there I go out walking to the other side helping him out as well. We walked in and I pointed to a small table for two before walking off to the counter, an old friend worked here and I wanted Lillian to meet her.

"Cam!" A loud voice yelled from the back you could hear a soft chuckle as the girl ran to him hugging him tightly.

"I haven't heard from you in a while! I was starting to think you found someone else to keep you company... If you know what I mean!" She giggled.

I rolled my eyes and hugged her back tightly Taylor knew almost everything about me, my sexuality,  my personal issues she was always the one I went to for help or advise.

"Well I don't know what you mean... but I do have someone I want you to meet." I chuckled softly.

Her eyes widened as I watched her looking around the small shop, I noticed her stop once she found Lillian.

"He's so cute!" She mumbled running over to him. I walked with her to the table before sitting down.

"Lillian this is Taylor an old friend from high school." His eyes went to the girl and he smiled, I couldn't tell if it was fake or not but he smiled and I couldn't help but be happy by it.

He looked at me and I chuckled "I will have a small coffee and a brownie today." I mumbled and looked at Lillian letting him order for himself.

"Can I have a glaze donut and some milk?" he asked. Taylor smiled and nodded running off to get our orders done.

"When was the last time you've been out like this?" I asked curiously.

"I don't remember..." He whispered softly his pale skin going perfectly with his light pink lips. Why do I keep thinking shit like this... I thought to myself before realizing our food had been placed in front of us.

"Thank you!" He said gratefully before quickly chugging his milk and taking a bite of his donut. I just watched and chuckled I had never seen someone eat so quickly before.

"I'm just assuming that was good?" I teased taking a few bites of my brownie and a sip of my coffee since it was still hot.

His pale cheeks became light pink as I spoke, he had frosting on his bottom lip and a little milk dripping down his chin. I grabbed a napkin gently wiping away the milk and frosting before laughing softly.

"Are you about ready?" I asked standing up leaving a tip for Taylor.

"Yes." He mumbled quietly standing up and walking along side me. I said goodbye to Taylor before heading out to the car helping him in. We listened to music the whole ride back to homes, as I walked him back to his room he had lost his smile and any color that was in his skin.

"Maybe tomorrow I can drop by and we will actually go out and get a meal?" I asked hoping it might make him happy or at least make him look forward to tomorrow. To my surprise his eyes lit up and he nodded.

"Alright then, I'll be back here about four? We can go walk around and stuff then whenever you're hungry we can go eat."

"Thank you." His voice soft as he walked to his bunk bed a small smile on his lips.

"Of course." I replied before walking out locking the door behind me smiling to myself. As I walked I realized I had just asked him out again and I growled loudly eyes turning to my attention as I just kept walking.
