Cameron's Point of View

I smiled seeing him again, I had noticed a few new bruises on around the boy's neck as we walked and my smile quickly faded. I decided I wasn't going to say anything until we had gotten out of ear with other people.

"So, what would you like to eat?" I asked, I had planned to take the boy out and maybe walk around the mall for a bit, he didn't have much and I thought he'd like some new clothes.
"Pizza?" Lillian said his voice soft as always.
I chuckled and raised a brow, "I offer to take you out and you pick pizza?" I tease walking him out to the car.
"I've never had pizza, so I thought maybe I could try it?" My eyes widened and I turned my attention to the boy.
"You've never had pizza?" I asked completely shocked. I opened the truck door and helped the short boy in giving him a small boost.

"Well I was taken away from home when I was six so if I did I must not remember it..." He said his voice almost a whisper.

I frowned, He's been here ten years? I think to myself before pushing the thought away. I got in myself handing him my phone along with the aux cord. His eyes lit up as he was quick to get the music playing. I chuckled seeing him smile, he was tapping his little fingers against his thighs. We drove the whole way listening to the music a hint of a smile on Lillian's lips the whole time. I raise a brow turning my head when the music suddenly stopped.
"Is something wrong?" I ask curiously.

"You never told me your name? You know mine because of the papers, but I was never told yours?" He asked, that was right I never did mention my name.
"Cameron, but most people call me cam." I said softly pulling into the mall parking lot.

As we got out I noticed how nice the boy looked other than the bruises and cuts around his pale wrists. I smiled and stuffed my hands into my pockets noticing him do the same. We walked into the mall and Lillian's eyes widened there were so many more people here than there were the other night. I pointed to some small clothing stores, as we walked I noticed people staring at the boy it wasn't normal for a neko to just be walking out and about. Most of the time it was actually dangerous, nekos were used specifically for trading and almost everyone knew that one as cute as Lillian could be sold for much more than a normal neko as well.
"I wanted to let you look around at some clothes? Maybe you'll find something you like?" I asked as we walked into the store.
Lillian nodded and smiled, again I couldn't help but feel good seeing him smile like he was. He ran to every rack going through all of the clothes that were there, he held up a couple of shirts a pair of black skinny jeans and a big night shirt.

"Is it okay if I try these on?" Lillian asked, I found a employee and she showed us to the fitting rooms.

I smirked as he walked behind one of the curtains, "You have to come out and show me what you got..." I teased sitting back in one of the small chairs they had for people who were just waiting.
I looked up hearing the curtains and my eyes widened seeing the boy dressed in black skinny jeans and a cute top that was just a little big on his small figure but it was the smallest size they had.
"Do you think they would let me wear these? I looked completely stupid before and everyone was staring at me..." Lillian continued to look at himself in the mirror the only problem was that his tale didn't fit but that was an easy fix.
My eyes widened and I nodded at his question, "As long as I pay for it I'm sure they wouldn't care." I say softly I stood up and chuckled softly, "Also you looked fine before too..." I mumbled quietly walking to the check out. As we finished up shopping I took the boy to one of the best pizza places I knew of, I went here a lot when I was younger but I suppose I stopped after I grew up.

Once we got to our chairs we both got our pizza and the first thing the boy did was shove it into his mouth. I laughed watching him I could also feel the smile on my lips to see him so excited over something like this.
"I'm so sorry..." Lillian mumbled the pizza still stuffed into his mouth, I shook my head and chuckled taking a bite myself.
"Don't be I like a boy who's not afraid to eat in front of me!" I teased smiling, I guess he would find out I was gay sooner or later... It wasn't like I could hide it from him or anything and I wasn't going to make him feel uncomfortable if I told him later in the future, also it's not like it meant anything.
Lillian finished his plate of pizza wiping his mouth, he looked at me his cheeks a light pink.
"A-Are you gay?" He stuttered a bit but I knew it was probably shock coming from me.
"Yeah, I hope that doesn't make you uncomfortable. If it does I promise not to make the little jokes like that I just thought that maybe you were?" I asked before realizing how stupid what I said sounded. Now he probably thinks I think about him like that... I thought before I was cut off by Lillian's shy voice.
"I'm gay too." Lillian's voice was so quiet like maybe he thought someone was listening to us or that he thought it was wrong he was gay.
"Really? I didn't know." I mumbled before taking my last bite of my pizza looking at the time it was already nine and I had to get him back.
"Well I don't really have anyone to tell that to?" He said a small smile on his face as he looked down at his hands that were now intertwining together.
"You can talk to me all you'd like I don't judge." I teased before standing up holding out my hand. "We should go before it gets to late?"
Lillian nodded and took my hand, I walked him out to the car a smile plastered on my lips the whole time. We drove back listening to the music that the boy had picked, his fingers tapping his knees as his head moved a bit with the beat. This night went better than I thought it would...

So this chapter wasn't the best I hope I get more time to write and everything but for now I finally got this chapter out and I hope it was good enough? >,<
