Cameron's Point of View

When I saw him on top of Lillian I just froze, I couldn't help it... I was so pissed and angry almost as if I was jealous with a bit of sadness mixed in. The past few days had been busy and it made it hard to find time to visit especially since the male was in a special building, basically where they kept nekos they weren't really looking to sell only just to keep them for themselves and use them for their own needs. Of course I knew that when they asked me to continue checking up on him but honestly I never thought I'd fall in love with him. Wait, did I really just say that...

"You're going to be okay..." I assure him as I sit beside him my hand gently running up and down his side, I knew that if I really was going to take this boy home it wasn't going to be easy. I wasn't poor yet I defiantly didn't have the money to take in someone I barely knew, but I wasn't leaving him here. Not with my brother pulling shit like he just had, I had seen some of the things the male has done to the boys who lived here and I couldn't care to see that happen to Lillian.

Before I could speak I felt a small hand tug at my shirt, my eyes trailing down to Lakyn seeing him looking up at me. I smiled faintly not wanting to show how hurt I felt, it wasn't fair for me to feel that way.

"Are you alright, Lillian?" I whisper as I caress his cheek in my hand my free hand pushing away the boy's dark blue locks out of his eyes.

"Yeah- He didn't get far before you got here." He said his voice soft, I noticed a slight bruise around the others neck and I frowned.

"When did this happen?" I asked biting my lip.

"Um in the showers, Tyler got in with me and... I pushed him, he got mad."

I looked down realizing what an awful place this really was and how horrid my brother's actions were.

In the world we lived in buying and selling nekos was normal and I had been taught how they weren't people, they were just pets. Made for humans amusement. It had never felt wrong until I realized how much I cared for the boy's well-being.

"I want you to get your things together, I'll be here at twelve tonight." I said not realizing what I was getting myself into.

I glanced over at him seeing his widened eyes staring up at me, he seemed shocked and scared all at once and I gently pressed my thumb up against his cheeks.

"I promise, whatever happens the blame will fall on me. I won't let them touch you..." I said not realizing how protective I was being over Lillian.

A small smile appeared on the male lips which only made me feel better, God he was so cute... I quickly shook my head and stand up, "If I can't afford the price were leaving anyway." He explained wanting to make sure Lillian understood what his plan was.

He sat up and nodded "Promise you'll come back?" he whispered as he looked up at the time.

"I promise..." I said assuring him before slowly leaning down pecking the top of his head.

As I walked out I noticed the others ears stand up, a small smile on my lips as I shut and locked the door just as if it was another checkup.

Okay, so I think I'm going to start up another story? Maybe one that's a lot more cute and lovey stuffs like that, but this one will continue. Also I know this chapters a bit short but I didn't want to get into all the other stuff because I felt it would have made it to long! Anyways I will most likely update soon! (:
