|| Chapter 9 ||

Lillian's Point of View

Why did I feel so... Happy all of the sudden? I had just lost something so special to someone I barely knew. Maybe this feeling would stay, maybe it would go away; in all honesty I'm surprised I lasted this long.

I opened my eyes as I felt the other shift beside me, turning on his side now just staring at me as if I was some prize.

"Don't just do that..." I whisper softly as I push myself up.

"Oh hush, let me stare. You know this may be one of the only chances I get, so please just let me be." He chuckled with a playful smile appearing on his lips shortly after.

This was defiantly just a one-time thing. At least that's all it seemed to be, there was no way he was looking for something more than that. Especially not with a neko like me, if anything he could turn around and sell me to make some quick cash. Of course I hoped that wouldn't happen but how would I stop him?

I simply rolled my eyes, "You've done this, so you have to he-elp fix i-it." I stopped shortly after feeling a pair of lips trail down my chest. My, body tensing up slightly to what seemed like pleasure filled tingles running all through my body.

[Smut ahead, not too much. Just in case anyone wants to skip over it. ^^]

After just calming down it felt as if it was all starting again, the feeling of excitement and nervousness was beginning to become overwhelming. It sounded crazy, but for someone who had never experienced such feelings could get excited over the simplest of things.

I let my body fall back against the bed again, allowing him to do as he pleased. My back arching slightly as the kisses began to wonder away from my chest, slowly finding their way down to my thighs. An obvious tint of red spreading across my pale face. Quickly lifting my hands to hide myself, I didn't want Cam seeing me so worked up like this.

His hands holding my hips down as he kissed my inner thighs, the texture of his warm tongue trailing down to my entrance. Now completely embarrassed I had even offered him this, it was much more embarrassing than I had thought it would be.

He looked up, eyes landing on mine for a split second before he returned to what he was doing.

[Smut ended, kind of... xD]

Though I had been touched like this many times it was different, I wasn't being forced. My thoughts were cut off by a sudden change in position, my legs quickly wrapping around Cameron's waist as I was lifted from the bed.

"Ngh- You could have warned me to hold on!" I chided with a playful pout leaving my lips soon after.

The larger male rolling his eyes as he walked to the bathroom, resting my face against his chest. His heart thumping loudly causing a faint purr to rumble around in my throat. Something that happened very rarely, I closed my eyes as I heard water hit the cold tub.

"Let's get cleaned up, then you can go ahead and crawl into bed." He mumbled, his full attention on getting the bath set up as well as setting a couple towels out onto the counter.

"Okay." I say as I push myself off of him, stepping into the warm water.

"Thank you, for dinner and everything. It was good, and the bath too." I mumbled, as he stepped in behind me. The bath large enough for the both of us, my tail curling around his arm as I began to bathe.

"Yeah, um I won't be able to cook like that every night. I've still got work and everything, though I'll make sure to have something set out for you to have." He said in assurance.

"I'm not staying here, after time it's going to get obvious one of you guys let me out. I can't stay, and I don't want to stay. Thank you for everything, really it's just I'm finally away from that place. If they found me I'd never get away again." I say, not allowing myself to look at Cam.

"What?" He asked, as if he was confused by my words.

"You can't leave, Lillian. Where will you go? You realize you'll need money at some point, where are you going to get that? You can't work, not once have I found a place that will allow neko's to work for them. Because they know guys like Tyler will do anything to have you even if it means hurting others, but you already know that." He said his voice much colder than I had ever heard it before.

I rolled my eyes staying silent now, even though everything he had just said was completely true. I was being selfish and I knew that but he obviously didn't get it if he was trying to keep me from leaving.

"Whatever." He groaned as I felt he cold air hit my skin, the other now out of the tub and drying off.

Cameron had already done so much for me, I wasn't going to allow him to take care of me like this, and it wasn't fair to him. I couldn't work like he said, I would just be a nuisance.

Cameron's Point of View

It was unfair of him to just leave in such a way, especially after everything that had just happened.

I shut the bathroom door behind me as I got dressed into some fresh clothes, walking down the hall before tossing the towel into the laundry basket.

I had lived in this empty house for years now, I knew that was most likely the reason I didn't want him to go. Finally I had someone and they walk away just like that, I was being selfish but in a way Lillian was too.

I shrugged it off not caring to worry much about it for now, if he left, he left I really couldn't stop him. Walking to my office before sitting down, sorting through the large pile of unorganized material. I had gotten so behind recently due to distractions, either way it wasn't a big deal.

After about an hour passed, I could hear foot step's slowly creeping up to the office door. Glancing over to see the small boy standing, his tail wrapped around him as well as his ears pressed up against the top of his head.

Wearing what seemed to be only a large shirt he must have found in my closet, I bit my lip before rubbing my lap. Lillian quick to walk over to me before crawling into my lap, his hair still wet from the shower.

His arms wrapping around my neck, his head buried in the crook of my neck sheepishly. I continued to work, not realizing it was almost two in the morning. Glancing down to see Lillian sound asleep, a quiet purr rumbling around in his throat once again.

I sighed inwardly as I pushed myself up, keeping a hold of the other as well. Making sure to have a good hold on him so he wouldn't fall, carrying him back to my room before laying him down. Crawling into the bed shortly after, turning off the lamp leaving the room dark besides the flickering light from the tv.

"Goodnight." I whispered almost silently before placing a kiss against his forehead. His arms wrapping around me, his actions only causing a smile to appear on my lips.

"Goodnight." He whispered back.

Okay, so hopefully this was an okay chapter. The next one should be more exciting and such, this one was kind of finishing off what had happened last. Also I'm debating on whether or not to say when there will be smut, there will probably be quite a bit here and there just randomly spread out but if you guys still want the warning I'll do my best to put one. (: I'll try to get Chapter 10 out soon! Anyways, good luck to those of you who have exams coming up!
