"Girl, we're both doomed if you don't hurry your turtle self up, we're gonna be late!" Mahsa says, speed walking through the hallway.

"Well, why are you only walking then?" Soleil points out, yet also copying the way that she's speed walking.

The school bell rings once again to signal the 3rd warning they have before they are deemed absent for the whole school day. Their school's system was very forgivable towards their students, yet at this time for Soleil and Mahsa, it felt like they were being made fun of.

"This is why we shouldn't have stayed up, remind me to never pull an all nighter with you again." Mahsa says.

"You don't mean that, I know you love my company." The jet black haired girl makes an offended face. "Hey, no need to be embarrassed! I could say it's mutual anyway, I enjoyed your company as I was writing that book that I wanted to publish."

"What's it called anyway?" Soleil ignores her, so she pulls on her jacket and repeats it.  She was about to do it once again but the light brown haired girl put her hand on her mouth.

"We're about to go inside the classroom. Please in the nicest way possible, shut up temporarily." She whispers, Mahsa is a bit terrified. But Soleil's scariness disappears once she enters the classroom, all sweet and kind. Mahsa swears that she can see pink flowers surrounding the girl when she smiles at the class and the teacher.

"Good Morning, Sir Collazo!" They say in sync, "We are sorry that we have arrived in a time un coordinating with the set one. We have encountered some private problems along our way." Soleil politely explains for the good of the both of them, their teacher nods his head and they both head to the vacant table at the back of the room.

"Talk about talking your way out of a situation, you're really the best Soleil!" Mahsa says cheerfully. "Buuuuut, I still wanna know what the book is named, please?"

Soleil sighs, "It's named Reunited, actually. It's about a group of friends, though you won't be getting any more information out of me."

"Awh man, anyway, question. Do you think I'd look good with blonde hair? I really wanna dye it once I'm in high school." Mahsa says, changing the topic swiftly.

"Yup, but doesn't Reia like your black hair? She would brush it all the time when we were little." Soleil shares her opinion, Mahsa nodding in agreement.

"Maybe I won't change it then. Anyways, about the..."

... Meanwhile.

The two boy middle schoolers could be seen in the science lab, they were supposed to perform this complex mixture thing for their Chemistry class with your chosen partner. Everyone naturally wanted Nevis as their partners, yet before anyone could muster up the courage to talk to the quiet smart guy, Vesper beat them all to it.

"Gosh, this procedure is way too difficult to understand, could we switch roles, partner?" Vesper asks, and Nevis silently takes his place with the pouring in substances instead, the other guy is now in charge of just giving the tubes to him. Couldn't be that hard.

"Magnesium." Nevis says quietly, holding out his hand ready to receive the tube he was asking for.

Maybe Vesper was deaf or this was out of his pure will, but he puts his hand on the one that was held out instead. Nevis blinks at him and he blinks back.

He coughs and repeats himself, "Uh, I meant  the Magnesium. Sorry if you didn't hear me."

Vesper immediately retracts his hand, his eyes wide. "Oh. Oh sorry. Um." He hands the magnesium to him, Nevis laughs.

... At Lunch.

"Guys you won't actually believe what I heard from the teachers during my second period." Reia says, slamming her water bottle on the table. The sound echoed throughout the whole cafeteria.
