"You.. like Soleil?"

Vesper turns around in horror to see Mahsa's shocked expression, her mouth was left hanging open until she clears her throat, her voice changing into a much more calmer tone.

"I didn't mean that in a bad way, I'm just.. surprised. That's all."

Vesper's eyes narrow. "You don't have to act so understanding all of a sudden. This won't change my view of you being a closed minded idiot." He turns his gaze back on the road, no longer saying anything else and Mahsa is a bit too ashamed to say anything back.

The rest of the ride was quiet, though having the radio turned back on helped fill in what could've been awkward silence. Eventually, they reached their neighborhood and Soleil shortly woke up after that. They dropped Mahsa off first, considering the fact that she lived the farthest from them. Soleil and Vesper were neighbor-level close if you were talking about houses after all.

The actor suddenly groans, checks her bag, and fishes her phone out. You could tell by the sounds of her phone's keyboard that she was texting somebody, frantically. Once it seems like she is finished, she closes her phone, bringing it to her chest and practically leans on the passenger seat way more comfortably than she was earlier.

"I have another play on Thursday, I've barely had enough time to practice today and it's-" Despite already knowing, she still checks her phone just in case. For reassurance. "It's already Tuesday. I mean, I will practice the whole morning tomorrow, but what if I suddenly get called for Student Affairs once again? I can't skip that either, oh my goodness-"

Soleil picks up the pace and shortly after, she was full on ranting, releasing any ill words to soothe the stress that she's currently feeling to the more composed, (only in situations like these) calm, (only in situations like these) and open-minded of the two. (again, only in situations like these) Which is why like any composed, calm, and open-minded person like him would do in this situation, he simply lets Soleil go. Not saying anything yet, just occasionally letting out reassuring humming after every sentence- paragraph she says.

"It isn't helping that half, no, one fourth of our cast doesn't memorize what they're gonna say! Even if they get as many lines as my door bell, haha, get it? It's because no one rings it since no one visits me often- but still! Even if their script is as short as that, they can't memorize it in a few days!"

"Hm."

"And don't even get me started with how much I hate group work when it comes to academics. My group mates either don't do anything and purely rely on me because I definitely would do something despite them not helping because if I don't it'll affect my grade, or, they do that same exact thing, but include some mean comments behind my back! Peer Assessments don't help, I know that it's the only way, but teachers should really come up with a plan b, because what."

"Uh-huh."

"Being a Student Council Auditor and the flipping Batch Representative took up way too much in my schedule. Actually, being an Auditor isn't that bad since Nevis is the treasurer but we need funds fast since transferees are coming the month Christmas Break is over, and Christmas Break starts.." She checks her phone once again, but this time, she actually had no clue on when it was. Soleil was in for a surprise because,

"Mhm- oh spare me."

"Next week? Oh my goodness, I am saved! I tell you, I'm literally going to become a vampire this Christmas Break. I'm gonna be hibernating and stuff, Vesper- I'm so happy!" She tries standing up, forgetting that she had a seatbelt on, or the fact that she was actually in a car. She gets pulled back to her seat, and she scratches her head sheepishly after a moment of silence.
