Rain slowly seeped through the parched ground of Fontaine. It hadn't rained for weeks since Egeria was punished by Celestia for her unforgivable crime. Some of the Oceanids that she had not turned into humans fled Fontaine. It hadn't rained a drop since then and the land was almost completely dry...until now.

Now the rain is pouring down again. All the people and animals had now looked for shelter so as not to get wet and the only thing that could be heard was the patter of the rain and the muffled shouts of joy from the people.

Everyone was now in their houses and the streets and forests were swept clean. Nobody could be seen yet, except for a long-haired woman who was walking slowly through the rain.

Her long, pastel blue hair, which faded to a lighter tone, was rain-soaked and looked as if it was flowing in the rain.

Her pale skin glistened like mother-of-pearl in the faint moonlight, and her tired eyes scanned the landscape as the rain continued to drench her white dress.

She missed her sisters, but at the same time she could somehow understand why those who remained fled and were afraid of Celestia. And those who were waiting for their punishment...for being turned into humans by egeria...

She was probably the only one who wasn't affected by the prophecy...the only one who would live in the end...but she couldn't be happy. Although she didn't know when the prophecy would come true, it filled her with sadness.

So she wandered through Fontain without a specific destination. But something had brought her to this place today. She had the urgent feeling of being here, and she didn't know why.

As she continued to walk aimlessly through the forest, she suddenly saw a man sitting in front of a tree not far from her.

He had shorter, silver-white hair with light blue stripes and two medium-length horn-like things on his head. He seemed rather confused and also had no clothes on.

But this was not what alarmed them. Something about this man attracted her. It was strange. She had never felt anything like this before, but she had an urgent desire to help him.

The young man sat on the damp grass, completely soaked as he watched the droplets of rain fall from the darkening sky. The rain had a strange, warm feel to it as the cold of the winter months started to recede.

The forest was silent, the only sound being the soft sound of the raindrops, which sounded even louder in such an environment. The silence was shattered by the soft sound of footsteps coming towards him.

The first thing he saw was a long-haired woman, who stood not far from him.

She slowly walked towards him and soon the young man noticed her. Instead of being frightened or treating her with hostility, he looked at her with curiosity and confusion. Somehow he also seemed...sad...

So when she stood in front of him, they just looked at each other for a while. Only the loud patter of the rain sounded in the background as she looked into his eyes. They were a beautiful blue-gray tone and, to his surprise, slit-shaped pupils.

After staring for a while, she noticed the tears the stranger was shedding. So with a gentle voice she began to speak.

„Are you sad?" she asked the strange stranger with friendly eyes.

He just looked at her confused until he started speaking. „I...don't know...what you mean...?" he seemed confused himself and just looked around even more uncertainly.

„Can you tell me what your name is?" she continued to ask him in a softer voice, but he just shook his head.

„I don't think...I have something like that?"

„Now do you have a place to return to?" he shook his head uncertainly again and looked at the soaked woman in front of him.

She in turn met him with nothing but warmth and held out her hand. „My name is Nahla and if you want you can come with me. Don't worry, I don't have any bad ulterior motives. I just want to help you...So? Do you want to come with me?" Nahla asked in a gentle voice.

The man stared at her for a little while longer before grabbing her hand and letting her pull him up from the ground.

Even though he didn't know much at all at the moment, it was obvious that he wasn't stupid. He could tell that Nahla wasn't a bad person. He could also tell that he didn't have anything to return to right now, and he was completely soaked.

So as Nahla led him through the forest, he decided to go with her.

Nahla looked at him with kind eyes and for the first time since the incident felt...alive.

The silver-white-haired young man on the other side felt a strange, warm feeling as he looked into those kind eyes. Nahla continued to hold his hand carefully and gave him a reassuring smile.

„Don't worry, we'll find out who you are."
