Rain pelted down on her as Nahla walked through the forest, soaked. Her destination was clear to her as the warm rain fell on her face. But she didn't let that distract her.
Her thoughts kept wandering to Neuvilette and whether it would really be okay to leave him alone. It's okay, he still has Sedene with him... She tried to calm herself down.
Back in the little house, which was now eerily quiet, Neuvillette wandered through the rooms. The time passed, and he kept wondering when "a few hours" would end.
He had already checked all the rooms several times, but the silence in the house made him feel more than uncomfortable.
He kept telling himself that she would come. After all, she had promised him, and she had never broken a promise to him so far.
Meanwhile, the rain that had started a short time ago had intensified.
Anxiously, he went to the window and looked outside.
It was really pouring heavily now. He swallowed nervously and furrowed his brow. She'd be soaked when she returned...
He just hoped that nothing would happen to her out there...
Again back to Nahla, she had finally arrived in a small valley. A little further to the valley the entrance was in a stone wall that led into a mountain.
Nahla took a deep breath and went into the cave. The stone passage grew larger the deeper she went.
The walls were illuminated by fireflies and glowing lichens, and various bright flowers of blue and purple bloomed everywhere.
It was just beautiful.
After a while she arrived in a huge cavernous area. In front of her stood a huge house-like tower made of yellowish marble stones and turquoise details.
She slowly walked to the entrance and went into the lonely tower.
When she arrived, she found herself in a large high crown hall. As she continued walking through the room she heard a soft laugh.
She snapped her neck towards the source of the noise and saw a white haired woman with blue accents running down the stairs.
The woman looked down at Nahla with a gentle smile before she began to speak.
„Focalors...good to see you."
Focalors smiled back at her friend before she walked towards her.
„Nahla. Thanks for finding the time to meet with me." she said.
Once she reached her she stopped and they greeted each other with a warm hug, gently holding each other.
„I just hope I didn't arrive in a bad time for you..." Nahla said, a little sheepishly.
„Oh, not at all, you came at the perfect moment, dear." Focalor said softly as she walked into another room with Nahla.
They walked into a cozy library, which was filled with many books.
Nahla admired the interior while taking in the warm and comfortable atmosphere.
„You really have a taste for finer things..." she said, as she glanced at the furniture.
Focalors chuckled before they sat down.
„Now let's get to the reason why I came here in the first place." Nahla said now with a serious face.
Focalor's smile faded slightly before she leaned back with a sigh.
„Yes...the prophecy..."
