Jungkook squirmed uncomfortably as he felt a sharp, hard stare fixated on his tiny body. His gaze, once focused on the intricate patterns of the white flooring, slowly trailed upward, curiosity mingled with unease pulling him toward the source of that intense gaze. When his blue eyes finally locked with the silvery orbs staring directly at him, his entire soul seemed to freeze in place. Those eyes were utterly blank, devoid of warmth, and they bore into him like they could see straight through his being, stripping him of any defense.

Jungkook's breath hitched as his gaze flickered downward, following the sharp line of those cold, silvery eyes, only to find the rest of the face concealed behind an intricately royal-designed mask. The elegance of the mask stood in stark contrast to the intensity of the stare, and a small frown tugged at the corners of Jungkook's soft, baby face. Something about the mask, the mystery of the person behind it, sent a shiver down his spine.

But his eyes were drawn back to those silvery orbs again, compelled by something he couldn't quite place. And for just a fleeting moment—barely a heartbeat—the hardness in those eyes seemed to soften. It was so brief that Jungkook wondered if he had imagined it, as they quickly returned to their cold, blank expression the second their gazes met again.

Jungkook's heart raced, and he suddenly became aware of the heat rushing through his veins. His face, now flushed, betrayed his nervousness as a soft red hue spread across his chubby cheeks and along his pale, snowy neck. He swallowed, feeling exposed under the scrutiny of those powerful eyes, not knowing why his body reacted the way it did or why that single millisecond of softness felt like it had stopped his world.

Jungkook's heart pounded in his chest as he shyly averted his gaze, retreating behind Mrs. Kim like a small, scared child. Mrs Kim, deep in conversation with Taehyung as they stepped into the mansion, didn't notice Jungkook's timid movements, but he felt safer just being near her. His eyes darted nervously around, taking in the imposing figures around him, before shifting his position again, moving from the safety of Mrs Kim's side to hide behind Jisoo.

Jisoo was attempting, albeit in vain, to get a word out of V, but he continued to ignore her, his cold demeanour unchanging. Frustrated, she huffed and pouted, turning her head away in annoyance. But then, she gasped in surprise, feeling a soft, small hand gently grasp hers. She looked down and found Jungkook, the shy bunny, peeking up at her from behind her tall figure. His eyes were wide, uncertain, but there was a sweetness in his expression that melted Jisoo's heart instantly.

"Hey, little dove," Jisoo greeted him softly, a warm smile on her face. "What's up?"

Jungkook looked up into her eyes, his cheeks still flushed from earlier, and without saying a word, he raised his hand, giving her a cute little thumbs-up. His bashfulness was endearing, and Jisoo's heart swelled with affection. She chuckled softly and, without thinking, swayed their joined hands playfully in the air. The simple gesture seemed to lighten the air between them.
