Next Day
Jungkook, wearing an unusual yet heartwarming smile, set the breakfast table alongside one of the maids, who was practically glowing with joy. Both of them moved with a little bounce in their step, clearly feeling the morning's light energy. As Jungkook placed the final dish on the table, he was suddenly swept up into a big, warm hug that felt almost like being caught by a giant Pikachu. He giggled softly, the sound of his laughter like a melody, while snuggling into the embrace.
Jisoo chuckled at his adorable reaction and exclaimed in a playful, cheerful tone, "Good morning, little beauty!"
With his eyes closed and a soft smile, Jungkook responded coyly, "Morning." His voice was gentle, his expression peaceful as he relished the moment. Jisoo plopped down in her seat, her eyes filled with affection as she admired the little bunny who brought light to the room. She leaned her chin on her hand, her gaze never leaving him, and said with a teasing grin, "Why don't you call me something special, like give me a nickname or something?"
Jungkook, who was focused on arranging the spoons, paused at her request. His ears turned a deep shade of red as he looked up, flustered by her sudden suggestion. He smiled sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck—a nervous habit of his—before responding in a soft, shy voice, "Umm... I-I don't know what to call you."
His innocent hesitation made Jisoo's heart swell. She chuckled softly, knowing Jungkook's sweet nature would probably come up with something precious soon enough. He glitched for a moment, lost in thought as he stared into space, trying to come up with something meaningful. But then, suddenly, his face lit up with inspiration, and he beamed at Jisoo.
"What about Ji-noona?" he suggested, the name bubbling forth with sincerity and a touch of excitement. Jisoo's eyes widened in delight, her smile stretching even wider. "I love it!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands in joy. "From now on, I'm Ji-noona to you!"
Jungkook nodded shyly, feeling a sense of pride at the new nickname he had gifted her, and with a bright smile, he headed back to the kitchen. The morning was serene as everyone started to take their respective seats around the table, the air filled with the aroma of freshly prepared dishes.
Jungkook stood beside Jisoo, his eyes scanning the table thoughtfully, making sure nothing was missing. The soft clink of utensils and the occasional scrape of chairs filled the air as everyone settled down. Mrs. Kim's warm gaze found its way to Jungkook, who stood there with his big doe eyes, looking even smaller beside the grandeur of the table.
"My little dove, come here," Taehee called out gently, her voice filled with motherly affection. Jungkook flinched slightly, caught off guard by her voice, and looked up with those wide, innocent eyes.
He nodded obediently and, with a cute baby step, he made his way toward her, his small frame making his approach all the more endearing. Taehee's smile widened as she watched his tiny fingers fiddle with each other nervously, the gesture speaking volumes of his bashfulness.
