Chapter 7 : Love Goes

It were hard for the students to believe that the Badboy of the school were in a relationship with the shy, silent nerd, but they were all eventually getting used to the two boys being together. Seonghwa's gang members felt weird to know that their hardcore, cold leader were gay, but they too became more supportive and started to enjoy San's company.

Many of the students still felt disgusted by the two boys, whenever they spotted them kissing or hugging each other, but they eventually accepted their relationship, except for Jihoon whom still were annoyed by the sight of them, but he didn't dared to speak up as he knew that Seonghwa knew way more than he expected.

The day finally came, the day where San were going to tell his parents that he have an boyfriend. San were sitting in the living room with Seonghwa by his side. Seonghwa noticed how San began to shake and how sweaty his palms have gotten as he began to regret taking this decision, but he also knew that he couldn't lie to his parents and hold his relationship with Seonghwa a secret forever.

"Hey, look a me.." Seonghwa said as he looked at San, who slightly turned his head towards him, "it's going to be okay, don't worry.. no matter what, I'll always be by your side, my love." San gulped hard as he nods.

When his parents soon appeared from inside the kitchen, they both looked a bit weird and curious as they saw the two boys in front of them holding hands. San's father raised an eyebrow and looked from Seonghwa and back to his son and asked in an low, stern voice, "what's going on here, San?" San lightly gasped as he suddenly became speechless, unable to get any words out..

His caring and sweet mother leaned closer over the coffee table and holds onto his other hand, making him look at her with frightened eyes, "darling, now I'll asks you and I wants you to tell me the truth.." San silently nods, "San, are you gay?" His mother looked at him with caring, soft eyes while she caressed the back of his hand with her thumbs.

Unable to take the silence anymore, San's father spoke in an loud, stern voice, "answer your mother San!" Seonghwa clenched his hand around San's hand as he didn't liked how his father yelled this aggressively at his own son, who clearly were too frightened.

San took a deep breath before he finally spoke, "...yes." He looked down as he didn't dared to make any eye contact with his parents anymore. Tears welled up in his eyes as he felt scared and regret, until his mother cupped both his cheeks and made him look up at her, "no matter whatever your decision is, if you are straight or gay, we will always be by your side." She smiled, causing San's father to let out a low groan as he fell back into the soft couch cushions behind him.

His gaze wandered from San and over at Seonghwa, who holds tightly onto San's hand. His gaze were cold and able to kill him many more times than one.
He gritted his teeths as he looked down at their hands, and scoffed..

His mother looked back at her husband who just remained silent after knowing the truth, "isn't it right Jungwoo?" He looked up at his wife, who were speaking. He took another glance at both boys and sighed deeply, "I can't really do anything about it.. so I assume that I'll too will be there as well." He said, his words were sincere, yet cold and serious.

San were no longer afraid of hiding anything from his parents, he were finally able to open up. He smiled as he looked at Seonghwa who sat by his side and smiled as well. San leaned in for a hug, feeling Seonghwa's strong arm wrapped around him.

San's mother looked up at Seonghwa with a smile of appreciation and happiness, "I'm so glad to finally know that my son found someone whom he truly loves, I'm so happy for the two of you." Seonghwa returned the smile and nods, "thank you so much Mrs. Choi." He spoke in an low, soft voice.

"Whatever.." San's father rolled his eyes, even though that he might not show it properly, he were also been supportive and would be there for both boys.

After that day where San confessed everything to his parents, he also got to know Seonghwa's parents, whom were as sweet as his own mother and they took him in as their own son.

San and Seonghwa were both finally able to breathe and never going to hide away from the community. The people on the street gives them horrible looks, but none of them cared, all there mattered for them, were the love that they shared.

An year had already passed, Seonghwa and San were still together as a couple and they were never gonna let anyone or anything break them apart.

It was their anniversary, for the first time it were San who got the opportunity to decide where they should be going.
"Come on, tell me where we are going?" Seonghwa kept begging as he had gotten blind folded and were only able to follow San as he holds his hand.
San let's out a soft chuckle and shook his head, "no.. but we are there soon." Seonghwa growled annoyedly as he began to become more impatient.

Suddenly the sound of the running water reached his ears, he felt how his heart skipped a beat, when San stopped and took off the blindfold, revealing the bridge that they were both standing on and the water there ran loudly beneath them.

A smile appeared on Seonghwa's lips as he looked around, it were all the same as that day. The flowers of the cherry blossoms were slightly waving in the air, falling down like the rain.

"Happy anniversary, Seonghwa." San said with a gentle, charming smile on his pink lips. Seonghwa reached for something in his pocket, making San curious as he too let his attention wander down to his pocket, where he had fished an beautiful necklace up from.

Seonghwa went behind San and put on the necklace and wrapped his arms around him from behind and whispered in his ear, "happy anniversary, Sannie."

It's my first time writing an story of one of the ships in ATEEZ (SanHwa).
This is just an story and is never meant to hurt or offend anyone nor the members in any way. I have just been seen so many authors making fan fictions or just simple stories with two of the members and thought that I also would give it a try.
