13] Jungkook

Taehyung's pov:

" Where is Jungkook? " I questioned Percy who was setting the dining table with other workers.

" In their room. " Percy spoke before bowing at me. " He was studying when I went up there half an hour ago. " He said at which I nodded and as I was about to walk upstairs,  Percy stopped me and said something which was very confusing.

He said , " You must wake up at midnights to drink water sir. "

" Huh? "

" Um...Drinking water at midnight is good, sir." The way he said it , he meant something else. But I had no time to talk with him right now , so humming , I rushed upstairs to meet Jungkook.

I kicked the door open of our room but saw no one in there. The room was empty.

Thinking that he might be in the washroom,  I went to check there , " Jungkook? " I knocked but the door creaked open being empty too.

" Where could he go? " mumbling to myself I searched in the balcony and then the wardrobe but he wasn't there either.

I jogged out of the room before climbing down the stairs , " Where is Jungkook , Percy?"

" Isn't he upstairs? " He questioned frowning and now my mind started to get the flashbacks of his teacher's conversation.

" search for him! " I declared to the staff members before I rushed outside.

Could he be walking around?

" Jungkook?! .... Jungkook! " I called out moving my eyes around the garden area but saw no one except silence. Rushing towards the main door , I asked if the security guards saw him go out but they hadn't.

He hadn't gone out.

Jungkook was inside the house.

But where?

" Jungkook! " I speedily walked inside and saw Percy with other workers having a frown , creasing their foreheads.

" Did you find him? " I asked and got a negative reply from them.

Where the hell he had gone?

Where could he go?!

" Have you searched everywhere? Upstairs? Kitchen,  washrooms, other rooms ? All the places? " I asked and slowly my voice started to increase it's decibals. I was at the edge of shouting.

" Where the hell were you all , all this time?! "
I couldn't help but snap at everyone gathered in the living room. How irresponsible of them!

How could they let him wander around like that when he knew nothing of this place!

Dark forest was everything my mansion was covered within and nothing more.

It was almost night , darkness was slowly falling from the sky and if he had walked out of the mansion secretly , then it was a matter of worry for me.

" Look around the place again! Send the security guards around the place. Find him as soon as possible! " I retorted , frowning in fury.

I was about to go upstairs when suddenly my eyes went for the CCTV camera which was fixated on the ceiling of the living hall's corner.

Oh Jin hyung , You're the best, I love you!

My feet jogged towards my office room and snapping the door open , I moved to my pc and opened the CCTV footage of the house.

And to my delight,  the cameras were working.

All of them!

I clicked on the footage of this week and went through the day but some error occurred and suddenly the video stopped , making my heart seep in distress.

I tried starting it again but it didn't work.

With a few more tries , I had no choice but to refresh it and watch the entire week's footage at a high speed which would take almost 10 minutes,  but rather than wondering around I could use my time here to find him precisely,  so I did it.

I sat on my chair and started to watch the clips.

The clips were rapid but I could see every corner of the house clearly.

As the times passed my brows knitted together after noticing something.

Jungkook......

No. I wasn't yet at today's footage but the past night videos were playing in front of me which made me very confused.

Jungkook,  every midnight  , came out of the room and sat in the living room before going back to our bedroom at dusk ; the time when I used to wake up.

My mind clearly distracted from it's goal and I clicked on the main cameras which focused the way to our bedroom , staircase and hall.

Every night , he grabbed his books and walked down the stairs silently and then remained the entire night down stairs.

Now , what the hell was I doing, again?

I could never feel that--, wait!

'You must wake up at midnights to drink water sir.'  What did Percy mean by saying that?

Jungkook....?

A knock came up to the door but I wasn't really aware of it as must as my mind was to the fact that Jungkook was way more different from what I had thought.

And then again, his professor's words rang in my mind.

"He could not say' no ' while being forced to marry you "
