"I'm still going on holiday with my mum."

"I know. I was a jerk before. I should've listened to you and not thought about myself." Cris sighed.

"I was a jerk, too. I just threw everything at you and expected you to understand." I responded.

"It's okay. Really, it is. Just don't go go finding other boys!" He laughed.

"I won't. It's only you."

"Aw, I love it when you get all cheesey." He teased.

"Oh, be quiet." I replied, rolling my eyes and tugging my lips.

"Admit it. Admit you secretly love me teasing you." He said, grinning.

"Never!" I spoke.

"Come on! We both know you love it."

"Okay, fine, you win. Yeah, I love it when you tease me." I confessed.

"Ha! Knew it!" He said triumphantly.

"You're such a goofball."

"That I am."

I waved goodbye as she walked away with her mum dragging her packed suitcase behind her.

"She's only going for two weeks. You'll live." Ronaldo chuckled, patting my back.

"Yeah, I know. I just don't want to lose her. I almost have a billion times."

"You won't. Stop being so emo." Tom said, grinning.

I laughed, shaking my head.

"You're right. We've got a match to practise for. Come on." I said, walking away.

Today was the day I was coming back. The trip to hawaii had been fun. My mum and I swam, bought clothes, went on walks exploring the island, and caught up on our lives.

I had missed Cris but had kept in contact. It had only been two weeks. Maybe I was being a little dramatic.

I boarded the plane and prepared myself for the long flight back.

My eyes scanned through the crowd of people searching for the brown eyes that I loved.

"Cris!" I yelled, dropping my stuff and running to him, jumping into his arms and hugging him tightly.

"God, I've missed you!" He said.

"You have no idea!" I chuckled.

He kissed my forehead, and my mum came over with all my stuff, smiling at the sight of us.

I jumped down from him, taking my bags from my mum.

The drive home was filled with chatter as everyone filled each other in on what had happened the past few weeks.

Crisis hand was on my thigh, holding it tightly like I was going to disappear.

I gave him a smile. He returned it.

☆The Day Of The Match☆

"I'm fine, stop worrying! You have a match tonight."

"I know, but I can't stand the thought of you being alone!" Cris complained.

"I won't be alone, mister. I have your whole family with me."

"Still!" He huffed, crossing his arms and pouting.

"I will be cheering you on. That's a promise." I said, smiling.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

We are coming to an end of Gilded Love. The next update will probably be the last thanks for reading and all your support!

Many thanks xx

(Guys, it's almost midnight 😭 and I'm still up writing literally forcing myself to finish this story. I'm so sorry if it's short or has any spelling mistakes!)
