Hey everyone, it's me, the author! I hope you're all doing well today.
I wanted to take a moment to update you on a few things. First off, I've added some new chapters, mainly to break apart the longer ones. After looking back at a few, I realized some of them were getting a bit too lengthy for a single sitting. For example, a few of them were over 10,000 words, which can be a lot to read all at once. I don't want any chapter to take over an hour to get through, so I decided to split them into two or three parts to make the pacing smoother and the experience more enjoyable for you all.
Now, onto something a bit more serious. I've decided to take a break from writing for a little while. Over the past few weeks, I've been struggling a lot with distractions and procrastination, especially in my classes. I've been putting too much focus on my book and not enough on my college education, which, as you can imagine, isn't great for me. It's been affecting my grades, and I need to realign my priorities to make sure I don't fall behind.
Because of this, I'm stepping back from writing to focus on my studies and get back on track. I need to LOCK TF IN and catch up on my assignments and exams, and hopefully get my grades back up. College is tough, and I'm learning the hard way that procrastination can really mess you up if you don't stay on top of things. I've always believed in finding a balance, and I plan to get back to that. So, I'll be taking some time to focus on my education, but don't worry—this break is only temporary. I just want to make sure I can give my best to both my studies and my writing in the future.
I also want to take a moment to apologize for the promises I made that I couldn't keep. I know I said the *Asakusa Arc* would be starting in the next chapter, but I ended up working on other chapters instead. I just didn't want to rush things or make the chapters too long, so I decided to take a different approach. I really appreciate your patience and understanding on this—it means a lot to me.
Before I step away for a bit, I'm going to give you all a sneak peek at the next chapter that I've written so far. I hope you enjoy it! I wanted to leave you with something while I take this short break, so I hope this holds you over until I'm back to writing at full speed again.
