**The Next Morning at Sunrise**

Myron woke up early in the morning in Aiko and her grandmother's house. He looked out the window to see it was almost sunrise. He was thinking about going somewhere that he remembered ever since he came back to the village two days ago. He slightly opened the door to see Aiko and her grandmother both soundly asleep, giving Myron a warm smile before closing the sliding doors. He quietly left the house. It was still almost dark outside, but the sun was slowly rising.

Myron made his way to the forest at the edge of the village.

After a few minutes of walking through the forest, he saw dried blood and old rotted vomit mixed with both blood and noodles on the soil. Myron knew all too well who the blood belonged to. On this spot two years ago, this was where it happened-how Myron saved Hiroshi's life that night and his first encounter with the demoness that nearly took his life if it wasn't for Rengoku saving him. Myron sighed in sadness as he placed his hand on his left shoulder, remembering the same excruciating pain when the demoness bit into his shoulder as well as breaking his forearm all those years ago.

("~~Awwww, don't pass out just yet. I want to hear more of your adorable screams—they're like music to my ears,"~~) Myron remembered the demoness' voice echoing in his mind and even her appearance, remembering his near-death experience, making him shiver.

He stood there for a moment, letting the memories wash over him. The fear, the pain, and the helplessness he had felt that night were still vivid. But so was the determination to survive and protect those he cared about. It was a turning point in his life, the moment that set him on the path to becoming a Demon Slayer.

Myron took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. He had come so far since that night. The training, the struggles, and the growth he had experienced had made him stronger. He was no longer the same person who had been helpless against the demoness.

"I've come a long way," he whispered to himself. "And I won't let fear hold me back."

He knelt, placing his hand on the ground where the dried blood marked the spot. "Thank you, Goku, for saving me. And thank you, Aiko, for giving me the strength to keep going."

As the sun began to rise, casting a golden light over the forest, Myron stood up, Teeling a renewed sense of determination. He knew that his journey was Far from over, but he was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

He turned and made his way back to the village, the warmth of the rising sun on his back. With every step, he felt more grounded and more certain of his path.

The memories of that night would always be with him, but they were a reminder of his strength and resilience.

When he reached Aiko and her grandmother's house, he found Aiko awake, preparing breakfast. She looked up and smiled when she saw him. "Good morning, Myron. You're up early."

"Good morning, Aiko. I just went for a walk," Myron said, returning her smile.

Aiko noticed the thoughtful expression on his face. "Are you okay?"

Myron nodded. "Yeah, I just needed some time to think. I went back to the place where I first encountered that demoness. It was tough, but it reminded me of how far I've come."

Aiko's expression softened. "I'm glad you did that, Myron. You've grown so much since then. I'm proud of you.

"Thank you, Aiko," Myron said, feeling a sense of peace. "I'm ready to keep moving forward."

As they sat down to breakfast, Myron felt a renewed sense of purpose. The journey ahead was still uncertain, but he was ready to face it with strength and determination. With the support of Aiko and the memories of his past, he knew could overcome any obstacle in his path.
