Mia, taken back by the sight of a woman who hates her appearing as a girl who loved her once more, had forgotten her original quip and was in need of an excuse for turning around now that the two women had caught her staring. She really wasn't a social person, behind the confident exterior she protrudes she much preferred quiet time with the girl she loved, however, she had been wanting an excuse to get a drink all week. More specifically, she was dying to get a drink with Marjorie so she could use the entertaining just dance attempts and karaoke as a form of blackmail later. Little does Mia know that Charlotte has a lot of videos stockpiled of a drunken Mia singing and dancing along with Marjorie’s antics.

“Oh uhm- Marjorie before I forget, would you like to come grab a drink with me and char on the weekend? I think Char is inviting Sorscha and Clodagh too for some girls' night adventures. Autumn, I know you love an excuse to have a drink and I think you would love to see how Marjorie is after a few too many, so we'd love for you to come too.”

Raised eyebrows was all she got back in response, fair enough that the mean red head and the manager would go on a few nights out together….but inviting Autumn?? They weren't exactly on the best terms despite never mentioning the reason to any other staff.

“I'd love to come-” Marjorie started. “Autumn I know you have a busy weekend, plus Caddie wouldn't wanna be alone that long so I understood if you can't make it.”

Knowing that an argument would escalate if she hadn't said anything, she gave Autumn an easy out, just a way to explain why she can't make it.

“Caddie??.. Oooo does someone have a new woman we don't know about?? And here I thought you were gonna settle down with that Diana girl. I'm glad you didn't, however, had to put her in her place once after she attempted to get her hands on my girl.” Amelia was usually a lot sneakier when it came to gathering information on people, that reasoning alone made it obvious to the two women working in the office that she was obviously just trying to push some buttons.

“I'll have you kno-” Autumn started before a stern voice interrupted her attempts at an explanation.

“AMELIA ROBERTS.”

In an instant, the smug look on Amelia's face turned into a sheepish frown, she'd been caught pushing buttons and was going to get a right telling off.

She wasn't complaining though.

“Caddie is Autumn's cat, you should know better than to assume things like that and it truly would be none of your business if Autumn did have a new woman. Wait until she TELLS you that, don't pry. Now come on, I don't need you causing any more trouble dumb dumb.”

Amelia turned her head back to the manager and deputy, smirking as she was dragged off in the direction of the exit, they knew what that meant. Sighing, Marjorie remembered the previous question asked to her.

“OH MIA”

“Huh?” Mia said, pulling her head back around the door frame of the office.

“7pm Saturday work for you”

“Perfect, I'll pay Carly to babysit Quinn. See you there Cher.” Giggling to herself as she walked away, Mia was met with angry eyes from Charlotte for mentioning Marjorie’s…. attempts ... .at her rendition of Believe by Cher.

Over the weekend, on that Saturday, already a few drinks in, the crux of the night was interrupted by a person putting their hands over Marjorie’s eyes as she was sat re-telling stories about a very curious parent called Martha, not to be mistaken with her daughter, Marthur. A very drunk Charlotte was stifling laughter as she had watched Dave approach, tiptoeing his way up to Marjorie before yelling-
