~NY New Apartment~
one week later.

i walked inside the apartment with my feet on ten. onika called and said i needed to come to her place instead of sitting alone in my own. she just didn't want to be here by herself since andrea was at carols for the weekend.

after a long day at work, i was exhausted. she took her role of staying inside very seriously. i asked her to come to my house instead but she simply said no.

so whatever.

"baby."

"come get in the bed with me."

"nika i'm exhausted."

"i just gave you a solution."

"come take care of me please." i whimpered at her room door, not leaving my spot cause of my feet. she was about to come take care of me because i need it. i'm in pain. my feet from my heels, my head from thinking... "nikkaaa."

she groaned pulling her cover from her body but got up anyways. i knew she would. the annoyance is always an act.

"come on princess." she pulled me to the bed, clicking on the lamp and making me sit down. i watched her bend down to take my heels off, tossing them by her closet after. her fingers rubbed my skin softly before getting up and taking my arms. "how was work?"

"tiring. i dealt with so many clients."

"but that's a good thing right? sit up, mama."

i lifted enough for her to pull my bottoms down, panties next. she was stripping me down.

"yea but....when i'm the only one doing certain things it's tiring. my schedule is so full, i just want to sleep. can i sleep with you?"

"where else would you sleep baby? are you showering tonight? or are we saving it for the morning? here." she pointed to her lips and i pecked them like i knew she wanted. her lips were soft. like she had a lip routine for the night.

"do i have to?"

"no you don't, love. that's why i'm asking. you're an adult."

"i just know you don't like outside clothes so-"

"lay down baby. let me see your hair."

she gently put it into a bun, making sure every strand was tucked away and out of my face. even though that's not the way i put my hair away, i let it slide because i'm so tired.

"come on princess you gotta get all the way up here. i get you're tired but you're bigger than me."

i laid back in the covers and slid myself up to the top. she followed me, letting me hold her as she tucked her head in my chest comfortably. we were both tired. her, i'm not sure why...she's been inside all day.

"goodnight princess."

"goodnight nika."

"i love you."

i hesitated because i didn't expect her to say it first... my heart fluttered.

"i love you too baby."
