✰*ೃ Blake's Pov ✰*ೃ
Some time had passed at the Bionic Academy. We were all much better with our skills and had already learned a lot.
Sebastian and Chase were demonstrating some moves while I and some of the students watched.
Sebastian was the only one in our class who was at the red level. And I was the only one at the orange level right behind him. In other words, I am the second best student in the class Yey!
After completing the demonstration Chase crosses his arms "Wow. Looks like we've all learned a lot from you guys." Sebastian says.
"Pretty soon I might even be smarter than you." He tells Chase who lets out a chuckle,He puts his hand on Sebastian's shoulder and his expression shifts to serious "Don't ever say that again."
I let out a light laugh and put my hand on Sebastian's other shoulder. "Yeah, you're just kidding yourself by saying that, This is impossible" I tell him and Chase smiles at me. "Yeah! Good One!" he says and raises his hand we high five each other.
I smile in relief and excitement that he did this. I like these moments. I'm afraid Chase will think I'm a really clumsy student and that I'm wasting my abilities or something. Or just that he finds me annoying and a brown-noser. But i just wanted to secure his approval.
Chase's gaze softens as we walk away. He lowers his head and walks over to Adam and Bree and I follow him out, proud of myself. But Chase on the other hand looks uneasy.
Leo walks in "Good morning, everyone." He says quietly "Good morning Leo" I say walking up to him, Bob and Spin.
"Not for me. Bob kept me up all night with his snoring." Spin complains, I frown "I thought it was the air conditioning that was broken" I say and Spin shakes his head "Geez Bob!' i say.
"It's not my fault. You try breathing with this thing." He points to his own nose "I've got a Spin-sized nose on a Bob-sized body." He says I snikered to his explanation.
Mr Davenport walks in "Greetings, everyone. I hath returneth from the mainland." He accidentally slaps Leo in the face with a hand gesture. He smiles and glances at Leo.
"And no one careth." Leo slaps Mr Davenport in the face with the same hand gesture. He puts his hand to his face, recovering from the slap. I shake my head in mild amusement.
"Aw, come on. No fanfare? No balloons? No rousing round of applause?" Mr Davenport says in experience, I smile kindly.
"Welcome back Mr Davenport. We've missed you..." I say and Bob interrupts "I didn't even know you were gone." He says "We miss you so much that we don't even remember what it's like not to have you here now that you're back!" I raise my voice and cover Bob's mouth from behind.
Mr Davenport frowns "Thanks Blake. Apparently you're the only one here who cares about my presence" he says annoyed and glares at Leo who shrugs .
"Look. If you're looking for applause, try adding a couple more bathrooms in the student dorm. Maybe just one exclusively for Bob." Spin suggests and Mr Davenport makes a worried face.
"I gotta agree. It ain't pretty in there." Bob says, I take a deep breath and put my hands on my hips, moving away from them to continue my training.
✰*ೃ Chase's Pov ✰*ೃ
"I'm gonna take your word for it." Mr Davenport says to Bob and gestures to me, Adam and Bree "Guys?"
"So, how have things been going here without me?" Mr Davenport asks as we enter the common area.
