Two Weeks Later. I went to the infirmary to bring some tea and talk to Taylor who was already recovering very well. She wore a bandage over her eyes but she could already stand up normally.

"And then I don't know..." I say sitting next to her "He was so close to me that we almost…" I feel my face warm up, the words sticking in my throat. "…kissed."

Taylor perks up instantly, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Uuuhh!" she teases. "And why didn’t you?"

I groan, rubbing my face. "Because he pulled away and apologized for invading my space," I explain, my frown deepening. "He said it wasn’t his intention."

Taylor groans. "Sissy," she teases.

"Hey!" I protest, looking at her. "Don’t talk about him like that. He’s just polite!"

Taylor raises an eyebrow. "Yeah? So, why didn’t you kiss him when it was so obvious he was asking for it?"

I hesitate, scratching the back of my neck. "Because, am I polite too?" I mumble, unsure.

She shakes her head, her voice stern. "No, that’s not polite. That’s fear."

I look away, biting my lip. "Maybe," I admit quietly.

Taylor sighs, a soft, knowing smile crossing her face. "You’re so in love with him."

I bury my face in her shoulder, a soft whimper escaping me. "I really am," I murmur, the weight of my feelings settling heavily in my chest.

Taylor chuckles softly. "Aw, that’s so cute."

"It’s torturous!" I exclaim, lifting my head up to look at her. "I can’t feel this way."

Taylor reaches for my hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "But it’s not like you can control it, right?" she says gently.

I nod, but the frustration still lingers. "I just wish there was one moment," I say, my voice a little wistful. "One moment where titles and rules didn’t exist. A moment when we could just be ourselves and say what we really feel. Without all the worry, the fear of what it might mean."

"Maybe it could happen," Taylor says with quiet optimism.

I scoff, though a part of me hopes she’s right. "Only in my dreams," I mutter.

"Never say never," Taylor says softly, her voice full of hope.

I lean against her shoulder, feeling the comfort of her presence. "Thank you," I say quietly.

"For what?" she asks, frowning slightly, but her arms around me tighten in response.

"For being the best sister I could ever have," I say.

Taylor hugs me tighter, the warmth of her embrace washing over me. "Aww," she whispers, her voice full of affection. "You’ll always have me. Always."

In the Mentor's Quarters. Me, Adam and Bree were on a video call with Leo.

"It's really weird not having you here, Leo. Everybody really misses you." Bree says "It's been two weeks. When are you coming back?" I ask him.

"I'm sorry, guys. When I said I was done, I meant it. I've hung up my mission suit forever." Leo says. I look down thoughtfully, Blake has been so upset about missing Leo. It's unnatural for her to be sad.
