On the rooftop. Leo and I were having a snack, he had prepared sandwiches and bought donuts for us to have a kind of picnic on the rooftop.
I take my sandwich in my hand and take a bite "Hmm!" I look at him "Leo this is really good" I say.
Leo smirks "Master Chef Dooley approved?" He asks. I chuckle and give a thumbs up "100%"
Leo bows playfully and I smile.
I grab a napkin and feel Leo looking at me "So how are things with Chase?" He gives me a little nudge smirking.
I feel my cheeks flush slightly and look down. "I Saw you two holding hands at Douglas and Perry's fake wedding" He raises his eyebrows.
I roll my eyes slightly in amusement "That was nothing" I tuck hair behind my ear "What about him tying the ribbon in your hair?" Leo smirks.
I frown "How do you know that?" I ask. Leo shrugs "I have eyes everywhere Lakey" he replies. I bet it was Bob I saw him passing us by.
"Yeah but it's nothing, it's just moments" I shrug shyly "Not to mention the kiss on the cheek you gave him. You guys are getting more physical in your moments" Leo teases.
I blush even more and put my hand on the back of my goosebumps. "What?"
Leo chuckles. I take a deep breath "Yeah we are" I admit "Yes!" Leo claps his hands in celebration.
"But it doesn't mean anything. We're friends." I say. "No Lakey. My sweet, naive Lakey." Leo puts his hand on my shoulder. "We are friends."
"So what are me and Chase?" I ask confused. "Flirts." Leo says after a second of thought.
"And how does that work?" I ask confused. "It is what it is. You guys aren't together but you're admittedly into each other." Leo explains.
"So you think he likes me?" I ask curiously and Leo sighs "I'm sure. He told me" he confesses.
I widen my eyes dropping my sandwich "What?! When?!" I ask. Leo smirks "I noticed. He's been into you since he first saw you" he says.
"Why didn't you ever tell me?" I ask "Because he's my brother and he asked me to keep his forbidden and secret crush a secret and I respect that. That's why I promised myself I would never tell you unless you came to that conclusion on your own." Leo explains.
Oh my god. I put my hand on my forehead.
"I don't know why it took you so long to realize. Or do you think you're his favorite just because you're the best student?" Leo says and I frown "Sorry that sounded ruder than it should."
I turn deep inside out as my heart pounds loudly.
"Plus I saw your drawing stuck on the wall of his capsule" Leo smiles excitedly at me "Really?" My grin gets wider.
"Yup" Leo chuckles "He looks at it before he sleeps" he needs to purse his lips to contain a chuckle and I put my hand on my chest "Aaww! He's so cute" I sigh.
Leo nods with a smile of agreement "Uhg" I throw my head back "If only he wasn't my mentor" I complain.
Leo rolls his eyes "If only you two weren't so attached to ridiculous professional rules" he imitates me throwing his head back.
