Jisung hated himself.

He procrastinated so badly that now he had to catch up on a month's worth of homework.

"Han, I know you are a smart kid. I don't want to have to fail you, if you bring me this month's homework next week, I'll turn a blind eye, just this once."

Those words haunted him. He couldn't escape this time. He had spent the last week locked up in the library and his dorm.

He couldn't even retreat to the Room of Requirement, but maybe that was for the best. The thought of sharing a small room with Minho wasn't exactly thrilling. Being forced to spend time together wasn't his idea of fun. It's not like he wasn't planning to return, the room didn't offer the same comfort it used to.

"It's a miracle you've made it this far in school," Hyunjin mocked. Hyunjin wasn't the most responsible person either, but Jisung was on another level.

Jisung rolled his eyes. "Whatever. I'm taking this to Leveret's office." He held a massive pile of history homework he needed to deliver all the way up to the seventh floor.

He hadn't been up there for weeks since none of his classes were on that floor, but Professor Leveret's office was.

He walked slowly, barely looking over the books and papers he carried. Then, without warning, he was pulled into a room, yanked so forcefully that everything he was carrying dropped to the floor.

Wait... the floor of the Room of Requirement?

Jisung looked up.

"Lee! What the hell is wrong with you?!" Jisung yelled, his heart still racing. Minho stood there, composed as ever, not even looking like he had just aggressively dragged him into the room. Jisung rubbed his wrist, noticing the red mark left by Minho's grip on his sensitive skin.

"Why haven't you been here all week? I thought we made a deal," Minho said, his chin held high. Jisung stared at him, unable to make sense of what was happening.

"You couldn't just stop me and ask like a normal person? You had to scare me half to death?" Jisung frowned, rolling his eyes. Minho was more than just annoying and mean—he was weird. His thought process didn't seem remotely average.

"Pfft. I don't want anyone to know I even speak to someone like you." Minho said it like it was obvious. But what did he mean? Someone like him... trashy? A Gryffindor? Or... a mudblood.

"What do you want, Lee?" Jisung asked tiredly. He was burned out from a week with no rest, and the last thing he needed was a conversation with Minho.

"I made the humble effort to share this room, and you're acting like I'm the annoying one you can't even tolerate being around?" Minho looked offended, which baffled Jisung. Was this really about him not showing up all week? Was Minho offended that Jisung had "rejected" his favor?

"What the fuck are you talking about?"

"Start showing up," Minho ordered. "I told you we'd share. So quit avoiding me."

Jisung raised his eyebrows. "Look, I wasn't avoiding anyone. In case you didn't notice, I had a ton of work to do!" He gestured to the scattered papers on the floor. Minho glanced at them like he hadn't even noticed the mess.

"Oh." Minho cleared his throat, taken aback but still trying to maintain his entitled posture. "But why? It's not exams week."

"I got—" Jisung stopped himself, shaking his head. "I don't owe you an explanation, Lee. You're not my girlfriend, so stop acting like one."

Minho's eyes flashed with anger. "How dare you? This isn't about you, you empty-headed fool. I just don't appreciate anyone making a fool of me. If I can share with someone as obnoxious as you, I don't see why you wouldn't appreciate that."
