halilintar is now eleven years old, with katara and sokka being fourteen and sixteen

and currently he's with katara and sokka on a boat, listening to sokka's blabbering about how they should catch a fish

"it's not getting away from me this time, watch this lil bro, this is how you catch a fish"

sokka said, taking his spear as halilintar sighed, looking at katara as she shrugged

halilintar looked back at sokka, who is setting his eyes on a fish swimming next to the boat, he heard some splashing but didn't mind it that much

"guys! look!"

halilintar turned around, seeing a ball of water with a fish in it, impressive if I may say

"sokka! look, katara managed-"

"shh... you're gonna scare it away...i can already smell it being cooked!"

sokka said in a whispering tone, halilintar looked back at katara and shrugged, while the girl didn't give up just yet

"but sokka! i caught one!"

she says, trying to control the water and made sokka realize it

"I don't like where this is going..."

halilintar thought to himself as he followed the water by his gaze, already going a little far from sokka just incase

SPLASH!

"hey!"

"agh!"

and that's that, sokka is soaked and halilintar is grateful that he managed to dodge

"why is it, that everytime you play with magic water, I get soaked"

sokka said in an annoyed tone, gripping his hands tightly as the water in his gloves drop, halilintar sweatdropped by the sight

"it's not magic, sokka"

halilintar said before katara continued

"it's water bending, and it's-"

"yeah yeah ancient art you need to learn for our culture, blablabla"

sokka said, angry that he didn't manage to catch the fish

halilintar sighed, the two of them always bicker, it reminded him of solar and gempa arguing about sleeping at night

"look, I'm just saying that if I had this powers I'll keep my weirdness to myself"

sokka said as halilintar looked away knowing so well that he did that

"you're calling katara weird? but she didn't try to eat a penguin"

halilintar said, mocking the older as sokka glared at him before katara smirked

"I'm also not the type to make muscles of myself everytime I see my reflection in the water"

katara said, halilintar just scoffed and looked at sokka for his comeback, who is looking at his reflection in the water and flexing his muscles

"ah!"

and before he could react, the ocean decided it's the best to make them have an accident

"sokka!"

halilintar about to fall if katara didn't hold him back, quickly getting back to his position, he looked at sokka who is trying to make the boat move the opposite way
