"Good, everyone is here. Sena's done with her cardio for today. As for the rest of you, stretch. Now," Yunjin ordered, her voice as sharp as ever, with her gaze just as piercing.

After the regular stretching routine, Jungkook started on his push-ups while the others groaned and began their burpees. I sat on the bench, laughing when Nari mumbled about how 'burpees are bullshit' and that she's 'already hot enough to shape her body any further.'

Seeing everyone was too focused on their own workouts, I slipped off the bench and knelt beside Jungkook, watching his flawless form as he effortlessly did push-ups. "You need to go harder," I teased, giggling when he shot me a look.

"And how do you plan on making me do that?" he asked, now on his 29th push-up without a bead of sweat.

Instead of answering, I grinned and casually shifted to sit on his back, still laughing as I did so. "Better?" I asked playfully.

"You barely weigh anything," he replied, continuing with push-ups as if I weren’t even there.

My giggling trailed off as my eyes locked onto the way his tattooed arm muscles flexed with every push. The way they bulged and moved was almost hypnotic... and undeniably attractive.

'God, my eyes are blessed,' I thought to myself.

After a minute of silently admiring him, I felt him stop mid-pushup. "Staring is rude, you know," he said, smirking as he caught me gawking.

"Who’s staring?" I shot back, trying to hide the fact that my face was probably turning a deep shade of red.

"You are," he teased, lowering himself down one more time before pushing back up with me still on his back. "You didn’t even try to deny it this time."

"Maybe I’m just here for the entertainment," I smirked, quickly getting off his back, dusting myself off.

Before he could say anything, Nari’s voice rang out from across the room. "Get a room, you two!" she called, smirking, clearly having witnessed the whole thing.

I felt my cheeks heat up again. "Shut up, Nari!" I yelled back, though I could hear her giggle in response.

Jungkook shook his head, grinning as he stood up. "Maybe we should do this more often."

I blinked up at him, my heart racing for reasons that had nothing to do with exercise.

"You know, so I can motivate you," he added with a teasing wink, making me roll my eyes, though a part of me secretly agreed.

"Motivate for what?" I asked, raising an eyebrow as I crossed my arms.

Jungkook's smirk deepened, his eyes glinting mischievously. "Oh, I don’t know... maybe to help you with your push-ups since you collapsed after like, what, fifty-three?"

I huffed. "I made it to fifty-three, thank you very much. Not everyone has your freakish arm strength."

"Freakish?" He looked mock-offended, but his grin betrayed him. "It's called hard work."

I was about to retort when Yoongi chimed in from across the room. "Please, no flirting while I’m still trying to figure out how to survive these burpees."

Nari immediately chimed in with a snort. "Right? I’m already dying over here and now you two are making it harder to breathe with all this tension."

I shot both of them an exasperated look, though my heart was doing flips at the mere mention of 'tension.' "We’re just talking," I insisted.

"Sure, sure," Jimin called out, waving his hand dismissively. "You and Kook? 'Just talking.' We totally buy that."

Jungkook chuckled beside me, leaning down slightly as if to whisper something, but loud enough for the others to hear. "Apparently, we're not as subtle as we thought."

I elbowed him lightly. "Subtle about what?"

He gave me a lazy grin, standing up straighter and stretching his arms. "You’ll figure it out."

Before I could press him further, Yunjin’s sharp voice cut through the room again. "Alright, everyone, enough chit-chat. Time to wrap it up with a run. No excuses."

I groaned inwardly, the thought of running making my tired legs protest, but I got up from the floor, ready to join the others. Jungkook’s lingering grin didn’t leave my mind as we all headed to the track.

"At least it’s just a run," I muttered, falling into pace beside him. He glanced down at me with that same teasing look.

"Want me to carry you if you get too tired?" he asked, clearly enjoying the teasing.

I smirked back. "You wish."

"Maybe I do," Jungkook said with a smirk that made my stomach flip.

I rolled my eyes, trying to play it cool. "In your dreams, Jeon."

He chuckled, the sound low and smooth, and we both fell into an easy pace as we jogged alongside the rest of the team. My mind, however, kept drifting back to that smirk of his and the way his teasing words lingered.

A few minutes into the run, Nari, who had been running ahead, slowed down just enough to throw a look over her shoulder at us. "You two are seriously going to make me gag," she called out, dramatically wiping her brow. "Like, save it for after the workout, please."

Yoongi, always the one to chime in with sarcasm, added between his breaths, "Yeah, don’t make us suffer through your weird flirting ritual while we’re trying not to collapse."

"Who’s flirting?" I shot back, feeling my face warm slightly. "We’re just... running."

Jungkook, ever the instigator, chuckled again. "I think we’re motivating each other. Isn’t that what teammates are supposed to do?"

"Right, motivating," Jimin echoed with a grin, jogging up to join Nari in the teasing. "That’s definitely what it looks like. Totally innocent."

"Leave them alone, they’re in their own little world," Namjoon teased from up front, barely breaking a sweat as he kept his pace.

"Alright, alright!" I raised my hands in mock surrender. "You all need to chill. We’re just teammates. Nothing else." I said the words, but even I could feel the doubt in my voice, especially when Jungkook glanced down at me, the corner of his mouth still tugging up in that infuriatingly charming way.

Before the teasing could continue, Yunjin’s whistle blew from the edge of the track. "Alright, you lazy bunch! Pick up the pace. Last lap!"

We all groaned in unison but pushed ourselves harder for the final stretch. My legs felt like they were on fire, but I kept going, Jungkook still by my side. When we finally finished, I bent over, trying to catch my breath.

Jungkook leaned over, not even winded. "Need me to carry you now?"

I shot him a look, but couldn’t help the grin forming on my face. "You’re really pushing your luck today."

His gaze softened, and for a second, the teasing seemed to fall away, leaving just the two of us in this moment. "Maybe," he said, "but it’s worth it."

My heart skipped a beat, and I found myself unsure of how to respond. The rest of the team, thankfully, was too busy complaining about the workout to notice the sudden shift in the air.

"Good job, everyone," Yunjin called out. "Hit the showers, and be ready for the next briefing in an hour."

As we all made our way back to the locker rooms, I couldn't help but glance over at Jungkook, who caught my eye and gave me a small, knowing smile. I wasn’t sure where this was going, but one thing was for sure: something had definitely changed between us.
