New Boss

                   Arohi's pov

"Do you know his name?" I asked..

"No it is kept as a secret.." Anna replied..

"Anna!! Looks like the new boss is in the town.. Bro came in a fucking LAMBHORGHINI!!!!" Another one of my colleague almost shouted.. Anna's eyes looked like it would fall out of the socket.. My heart thumped for reasons unknown..

The door opened and everything went dead silent.. Not a single soul dared to even breathe.. The man I saw in front of me.....was...was The fucking Aviraj Oberoi.. My worst nightmare. My kidnapper and the man I was forced to sleep with.. I was at a moment where I could not decipher if the silence was real or the drumming noise in my ears have restricted my hearing... 

He entered in the room as some of them dared to wish him Good morning... He replied with a slight nod.. His eyes found mine as if saying Liked the surprise Amore??

Our HR came out his cabin as he smiled at him... "Good morning Mr. Oberoi.." They shook hands before turning towards an wide eyed audience aka employees..

"Good Morning everyone.. From now onwards, Mr. Oberoi is the CEO of this company and I hope you all won't dissapoint me and our former CEO who had stayed with you in your tough times.. With time you all will be having as good relation with him as you have with me.. We couldn't arrange an official announcement event in such a short period of time and I apologise to everyone and Mr. Oberoi for that.. Thank you.. I would like to request something to say something..
He finished as he gestured him to say something.. Packed in all black suits, his perfectly set hair and sharp jawline, and his dominating aura made every atom hold its breath in fear and trepidation..

His predatory orbs found mine.. I had forgot to breathe.. I couldn't breathe.. And if the universe wasn't enough to make me feel miserable, his voice, deep and commanding, was enough to send  cold blood dripping through my spine..

"Morning everyone.. I would like to come straight to the point.. I demand my employees to be perfect.. Any imperfections or mistakes, and you'll be out.. This month will be for the evaluation for the existing employees and if I consider anyone ineligible, I will replace them.. That's all.."

The next few minutes felt like a blur as he entered the room with the door written CEO in bold... The tension remained a few more minutes before everyone slowly resumed their respective work.. I couldn't move. The room filled with hushed whispers.. Anna came up beside me and jerked me out.. "Hey! He.. He.. Is Aviraj Oberoi.. His companies rank the highest everywhere.." Her eyes were filled with wariness.. "There are rumors that he has connections with.... Mafia.." Her voice was barely above a whisper.. The huge lump in my throat had already constricted my speaking.. I was stuck. With a man so menacing and dangerous. I could do nothing in front of him, absolutely nothing.. 

It took me a few moments to gather myself and sit in my desk trying to work. Trying. And failing. I couldn't focus, my only thought was what he wanted, What dangers await me now..

After some time a man entered our office.. He looked like his men.. With almost same dark aura and confidence.. He didn't avert his attention and procceeded towards the CEO cabin.. He knocked the door before entering and closing the door again...

                    Aviraj's Pov

"What is this now?" Akash's voice was calm but he was annoyed..

"What is what?" I said blissfully increasing his annoyance..

"About what you texted me this morning." He said bluntly.. "You fucking bought a company for her!! You are not even interested in it. And the most important part?? I am in the responsibility of all this while you have your office romance??" The annoyance in his voice grew..

"Stop overreacting.." I said calmly.. "You won't be the only one working. I will do my portion too.. Its just less than I am supposed to.."

He rolled his eyes.. "Less than I am supposed to.." He said mimicking me as he took a seat.. "You have your own company too Mr. Aviraj Oberoi... And in your absence, who's the scapegoat? Of course this Akash Roy.."

"You can do that much for me.." I added bluntly..

"No. I am not falling into your trap again. Handle your own shit." He said mocking me as he proceeded to stand up and leave..

"Okay leave, but don't come to me if you mess up in the club again after drinking too much.." I leaned with a smirk plastered on my face.. "Remember the last time?"

He sat down in his seat again, "Fuck you.." He scowled.. I remember the last time, he drank too much, of course the too expensive ones and moreover got into a fight with the bartender saying he had already paid his money.. He would almost get arrested if I was not there on time.. Though I would not mind spending my money for him, considering he is my most trustworthy friend, I will never leave the chance to taunt him for that..

"Fine.. Only this time." He said.. My lips curved up, barely visible.. He rolled his eyes and proceeded to leave. Once he got out, I opened my laptop going through the cctv footage of the room she is currently sitting in...

                    Arohi's pov

Anna stood up from her seat and proceeded towards the restroom.. I tried to concentrate on my work when I heard Anna's voice.. "Who the fuck—" My eyes widened at whom she was almost throwing those words. Almost. Her eyes widened, realisation setting in.. It was the same man who entered in my so called kidnapper's cabin.. Tall and bulky, he was towering above her small figure.. My heart thumped.. These men were dangerous. God knows what they will do..

"Excuse me? You are the one that bumped into me.." His voice was deep but wasn't as dangerous as my kidnapper's..

"Yes sir.. I am sorry.. I didn't see you coming.." She blurted out. She wasn't the one to apologise easily.. But this time she did and I am thankful for that.. Yes keep your head buried in that damn phone..

He looked annoyed but left without saying more.. I let out the breath I didn't realise I was holding.. I rushed to her and accompanied her to the restroom.. She is going to get a good scolding..

As soon I reached, I started.. "How many times have I told you to have a control over your mouth? And what was the need to keep your head buried in that damn phone?" I scolded..

"How would I know he would come out of nowhere?" She said annoyed..

"You could atleast watch your path while walking.. Do you have any idea how scared I was?" I added..

"You get scared of anything.. What would he had possibly done?" She said, her own tone a bit uncertain.. Typical Anna behaviour.

"Oh please, Who are you fooling? No matter how brave and carefree you are, I saw that you were a little intimidated though you excelled in hiding it.." I said..

"You are seeing too much.. Maybe you should get a eye checkup.." I rolled my eyes at her words..

After some more arguments we returned to work.. I had just settled in the chair when I saw one of my colleague coming out of his room.. He looked relieved that he was finally out of there..

"Arohi, He asked you to meet him.." As soon as the words left his mouth, dread filled every inch of me..
