Natasha Romanoff walked away from her meeting with Grant Ward in Kiev with a sense of renewed curiosity and interest. She arrived at the extraction site and boarded the vehicle assigned to transport her back to the airbase. During the flight back, Natasha reflected on her meeting with Grant Ward and how he had exceeded her expectations. Upon arriving at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters in Washington, Natasha headed straight to Deputy Director Maria Hill and Director Nick Fury's office for a briefing. She was met by Maria Hill, who was in a meeting with other agents. Natasha requested permission to speak with Maria and Fury immediately.

"Maria, Nick," Natasha began as she entered the office, "I need to discuss something important with you."

Nick Fury raised an eyebrow, curious at the urgency in Natasha's voice. "What happened?"

Natasha began to recount her experience. "In Kiev, I met a DEVGRU SEAL named Grant Ward. I was handling an operation related to arms trafficking, and we crossed paths. His skill in combat and level of professionalism were remarkable and impressive."

Maria Hill adjusted her posture, interested. "What else can you tell us about him?"

Natasha continued, her expression showing admiration. "Ward is extremely capable. We fought side by side against a few guards, and he proved himself a worthy opponent. The fight was evenly matched, and he demonstrated refined technique and a well-honed strategy. Plus, I must say, he's far more attractive than any description or representation would suggest."

Nick Fury watched her closely, his expression becoming more thoughtful. "And what else did you notice about him?"

Natasha leaned forward slightly, emphasizing her point. "The way he approached the situation was professional and strategic. He knew exactly what he was doing, and his ability to work under pressure is remarkable. While we decided not to interfere with each other's goals, he demonstrated a control and understanding that is rare."

Maria Hill made a quick note in her notepad. "It seems you've found someone with exceptional skills. What is your recommendation?"

Natasha hesitated for a moment before answering. "He would be a valuable asset to us. If we ever have the opportunity to recruit him, it would be something to consider." His experience and skills could be a significant addition to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s team."

Nick Fury crossed his arms and considered. "It certainly seems like he's someone we should keep an eye on. His combat prowess and the way he dealt with you indicate he has what it takes to excel."

After reporting her observations, Natasha said goodbye and left the office. She knew her work was just beginning and that there would be more to do to complete her mission and goals at S.H.I.E.L.D.

After Natasha left, Maria Hill and Nick Fury discussed the implications of what she had reported.

Maria Hill adjusted her glasses and said, "Nick, it seems Grant Ward is someone we should keep a closer eye on. His description indicates he has the potential to contribute significantly to our goals."

Nick Fury nodded. "Absolutely. His skill and experience are impressive. We should consider how we can integrate him or get him interested in working with us." There needs to be someone with that combination of skills and the right mindset in our agency."

Maria Hill made a note on her tablet. "I'll start gathering more information on him and see how he fits into our current plans. We should evaluate the possibilities for recruitment and also how this fits into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s overall strategy."

Fury nodded, considering the implications. "Right. If he's as good as Natasha reported, it's worth exploring the possibility of bringing him on board. The question is how to approach it without raising suspicion or disrupting his current operations."

Maria Hill considered this. "We can start by keeping an eye on him, and performance. If he proves to be a good fit, we can plan a suitable recruitment."

Fury smiled enigmatically. "We'll keep an eye on that. Grant Ward could be a valuable asset to S.H.I.E.L.D., and we're always on the lookout for the best. Keep me posted on any developments."
