Love was wounded and lost
Its echo slapping against my heart's canopy
My soul shook in the wind of losing you
I cast my anchor yet it missed it's mark
My love affair is with your cliffs
Yet stuck on these rocks
I stand proud on your edges
Love! It stranded me alone!
Yet even in this Chaos you're my home
I see you all around me, I'd have nothing if I don't
Love was mangled and torn
Love was lies at dawn
It made a cheap mistake of me
But you, sir, broke my heart.
