Ares Slivermane

When I got to know that the rouges had stepped on my land, I found myself rushing to them. I didn't even think to inform Adrien because I knew I would take them down. With all this anger and rage bottled up inside me, it was the perfect timing because I really needed to take it out on someone.

I pant as I stand in the ground in my wolf form. Eight wolfs stand infront of me, snickering as they turn their heads in each other's direction before looking at me. They walk, circling around me. I carefully eye them, scanning each one of them.

"You fucker, why are you alone?" Eric sneers in my mind and I raise an eyebrow. "Why? You can't take them down? I thought you were strong enough." I smirk and feel Eric jolt with adrenaline. "Now, you've got me wrong. I am strong but are you?" I almost scoff at his comment. "You will know it soon." With that, I lounge myself at my first target that stands in front of me. Within seconds, I bite his neck off, leaving the wolf without a head.

"That was cool." Eric laughs and I smile to myself. "Now, My turn." He takes over my body, jumping at the second one and biting on its back. Two wolves attack me, biting on my leg and arm. Eric attacks them, turning his head and pulling them with his teeth. He jumps on one before snapping his neck and it drops on the ground. He jumps on the other one, biting its arm and scratching his chest. The wolf groans in pain before Eric kills it.

"Not bad. Not bad."

I see Adrien and Max rush towards me, their white and grey wolf running towards me. I am wearing my shirt, in the middle of the green grass with eight bodies laid on the ground, lifeless. "Are you crazy?" Adrien scolds me as soon as he reaches to me. Max looks around, before grinning. "What?" I scoff.

Adrien glares before he rolls his eyes. "You could've informed." He suggests and I shake my head, laughing at his complaint. "They're all dead now." Max laughs at my comment. "Man, you had me worried for a second." Max says making me look at him with a warm feeling.

Seeing him admit his fear was something new. Max never shows his emotions, hiding them behind his 'I don't give a shit' mask but seeing him opening up little by little was heartwarming. I really hope he gets a mate who can understand him and bring the best out of him. Max is a good kid, just too embarrassed to show his emotions.

"I'm good. Remember I'm an alpha." I look around before I realize I haven't come here on my car. Rolling my eyes in annoyance, I shift back in my wolf form and look at the two. "Shall we head back?" I cockily say earning a side eye from Adrien.

I walk to the house, narrowing my eyebrows when an unfamiliar scent hits my nostrils. Max and Adrien have left, saying they had some work to do. Max still goes to university, studying while Adrien helps me check on the town, keeping a record of each and everything.

Scanning the place, I open the door only to find Ethan in the living room. Seeing him stand there surprised me, making my heart race. What is he doing here?

Max and Adrien can be dumb sometimes, like this time. Leaving him with unlocked door. I will have to talk with them later about this matter.

Wait, why didn't he run away when he had the chance.

The moment he told me he was worried for me made my heart race in my chest, completely forgetting about the suspicious scent. I had my heart racing in my chest as he watched me with such worry. I can't have him look at me with such emotions.

It's almost like he has started to care for me. I don't want that.

I can't have that.

The need to search the place clouds my mind and I need him to got it his room. I have a feeling that something is not right in this place.
After Ethan had left the living room with so much pain, I start my search. I look in every room, every corner to find the source of the scent.
