Ares Silverman

I hold the steering wheel tightly as I drive the car at a high speed. The only urge to kill the man who has dared to touch Ethan clouding my mind. Adrien drives behind me, keeping up with my pace as we make our way to the town.

"How will we find him?" Adrien asks through the mind link as we drive our cars with no clue where to go. "I don't know. But we will find him." I grumble.

I was going to walk back to my room when I heard Ethan talking to Max and Adrien. As much as I hate them to be in his room, I let them because I know he needs someone to talk.

I thought of going to his room many times, ask how he was doing but I couldn't. I didn't have the courage to face him. Every time we talk, it ends up with an argument.

Right now, Ethan needed rest and I didn't want him to use his energy to fight me.

The thought of someone else marking Ethan made my boil blood. I never thought it could affect me this much until I heard Ethan say that. I was burning in rage when his words touched my ears and without thinking much, I marched towards his room.
I was scared to lose my mate. I was scared that if someone else marks him, he won't look at me or spare me a single glance and it horrified me to the core of my existence. I hated to admit it but it was rather truth that I couldn't deny.

Ethan sat on the bed, his knees resting against his chest as he looked so vulnerable. The shock to see me in his room danced in his eyes. He didn't say a word as he looked at me with his big black eyes.

To see him after so many days made my heart drop. To meet his eyes made my heart race.
It scared me what was happening to me and yet I couldn't stop it. Perhaps, I didn't want to.

"I don't even know who he was." I mutter before pressing the race and speeding up my car. We drive through the town, small shops resting on each side of the street as many people walked in and out of the shops. My house was a little further from the town because it was the main house of the pack.

In the town, people had their own small houses with their shops. It was a perfect space to live and enjoy your life.

I park my car in the parking of a clothing store when Adrien comes and parks his car next to mine. "Did Ethan tell you anything about his appearance?" I look around, scanning the place carefully.

Adrien stands next to me before he looks at me with a serious look. "You haven't asked him?" I roll my eyes at his question and look at him.

"No." I declare and he sighs as he rubs a hand over his face. "Ares, you are his mate. How come you didn't ask him this yourself?" The disappointment in his voice makes me want to use my alpha force on him but I let it slide. "Can we focus on the main thing?" I scowl and start to walk in the street. "This is the main thing." Adrien says coldly and I start to laugh a little.

"Yeah, right."

"He was a rouge." I stop in my tracks when I hear Adrien. My body turns cold when an image of Ethan fighting a rouge pops in my head. Slowly, I turn around and see Adrien with his arms folded over his chest. He carefully looks at me, not batting his eyes for a single time.

"A rouge?" I tilt my head, taking dangerous steps towards him. "A rouge did this to him? A rouge dared to think that he would mark Ethan?" Every word leaves from the depth of my chest as I try to contain the growing venom in my body. Adrien nods, keeping his head up. "Ethan said he had a square face with light beard. He also has black hair."

"He will not be here then." Adrien narrows his eyes before they go wide. "He is definitely on the lands of bloodvaine." He mutters with horror. I nod as my throat tightens making it difficult for me to utter a word.
