Elise had snapped out of her gaze by the teacher calling on her to answer Elise darted her eyes towards the teacher, the whole class has their eyes fixated on elise.

She felt the sensation of fear roam through her veins, she was so caught up in her own thoughts that she hadn't been paying attention to the class, she wanted to give herself a punch in the face.

"Elise." Mrs Jackson called out with a smile formed on her mouth and she kept her gaze on her face.

"Answer the equation on the board, please." She politely instructs Elise, setting down her white chalk down on the metal railing that connected to the board.

"I.." Elise's voice drifted off, not finishing her sentence. She couldn't find her voice. Everyone was just staring at her and.. she felt a bit.. anxious.

Mrs Jackson's smile slowly faded, her expression turned into confusion, she didn't quite understand why she couldn't answer the equation.

"69..?" Elise said in a low tone, her voice was soft and her voice was caught in her throat, she nervously bit down on her lip.

Mrs Johnson went silent for a short period of time, the atmosphere was thick after she answered the question what was written down on the whiteboard. "Wrong." Mrs Johnson's voice was filled with disappointment as she clicked her tongue.

Laughter was heard around the room, Elise darted her eyes down towards her desk, not wanting to further reply. She didn't want to embarrass herself anymore. She felt sweat slowly began to drip down her forehead, she felt heavy weights down on her chest. her left leg began to bounce up and down slightly.

She felt a small finger tap down on the fabric of her knitted sweater, elise darted her eyes towards her side, she met eye to eye to no other than her best friend Robin arellano. "What's up with you?.. you almost never get an equation wrong in this shitty class.." Robin whispered to elise, keeping his gaze put into her.

"Nothing..i was just..caught off guard.." Elise gave him a fake smile, not wanting robin to worry about her, she darted her eyes away from him, she looked over towards finney who was writing notes down in his notebook.

"You sure..you know you can tell me anything, like literally anything." Robin whispered over to elise, he had assurance in his tone, he gave her a small smile.

"I'm fine.. really." She assured robin, she darted her eyes away from finney before darting her eyes towards her robin, she gave him a reassuring smile,
She slowly glanced away.

"Fine.." Robin muttered under his breath, clearly not believing what elise said but he didn't wanna push her any further.

ELISE Had arrived home, the stench of beer was still present in the home, she grimaced at the stench once again before slowly darting her eyes over towards the coffee table right by the front door, it had a small note that read.

'Out for work, I won't be back for the next few days, Your older brother is gonna take care of you, meanwhile, take some money and buy some food.' the note read, Elise scanned her eyes through the words before letting a sigh escaped through her lips as she placed the note down. "Of course." She muttered under her breath.

Elise had taken the money from the counter, she glanced over and her eyes met with the older boy's eyes. "hey..henry." Elise greeted him with a small fake smile before trying to place her head down on his light brown hair, wanting to touch his mullet.

"Where are you going?" Henry called out with a small frown plastered down on his face, Elise had took notice of her older brothers scowl on his face. "I'm going down to grab n go.." She informed him. Henry gently sighed before darting his eyes away from her.
