Isn't this a tad unfair

         That same day after school Monel pulled me aside to talk. "Look I love the fact that our friends are so vigilant about keeping us innocent, but I mean look at them! All cuddled up in another person's arms and if we even hold hands and smile at each other we're looked at weirdly!" I understood where he was coming from. Whenever it was Kryptonian mating season, Eliza would give me "The Talk" but I knew where she was coming from and still listened to her ramble on about safety and how I needed to text her before it happened and stuff like that. "I know babe..... um I mean Monel." I was flustered for the fourth time in one day! Talk about a rollercoaster of emotions! Monel turned me to face him with love in his eyes. "Yeah continue beautiful, I'm listening...." He knows just how to get my attention. Everyone in our friend group raised an eyebrow at this but let us go on until something happened. "I was.... um.... going to say that just because humans don't have a specific mating season, doesn't mean that they have achieved something we haven't. But we need to get their points....." My heart was racing. I whispered to Monel in Kryptonian "I wanna kiss you so bad right now!" He answered me not in the way I expected. He planted a soft but deep kiss on my lips, we walked to my home hand in hand.

           We reached the house and Kelly and Alex were talking outside. I looked at Monel and we were thinking the same thing. He lifted me up by my waist and started kissing me. Suddenly we were on the couch. We were sitting up but still... Then don't ask me how but both Monel's knees were on either side of me. I turned laying down on the couch and we continued. We got so far into it I forgot I was fifteen dating a seventeen year old! He lifted the ends of my shirt. Which was a pull neck since it was chilly that day. I was left in just my bra still taking every second I had to be connected to him through his lips. He took his shirt off and now we were both shirtless. I mean I had my bra on but it's not a shirt. We break for a second and I notice a figure behind Monel. I shot up realizing who it was. "Uhhhh..... Monel get off me please." He got off and I turned to see where our shirts went when I saw Alex walk in. "Kara tell me you didn't do what I think you did!" "They almost did!" Eliza said handing Monel his shirt. Alex gave me mine and we both sat in the living room like children being scolded.
         
             Eliza started yet another lecture. "Horizontal" "What does that mean?" Monel said obviously asking me more than he was asking Eliza. "It means that Eliza found us in the same way we would have been if we weren't interrupted. You know if we went on....." "I wonder how this conversation would be going if I wasn't released early from work? Awkward, maybe embarrassing... Kara you told me you weren't ready, and that you'd text me when you were. Plus it's like two days to mating season so I don't understand." "It's actually three days ago and ends in two weeks..." I said not making eye contact. "You found your mate....." Eliza asked staring at the boy on her couch. "Yeah uhm Monel...." I said "Hi!" Monel said half smiling. "Then you two need to know something.... mating season for you two is going to be hard. Almost no alien couple makes it through the season without sleeping together once. But you two need to get through it. Mostly because I read it's a custom on Daxim and Krypton for the youngsters to make through the fist mating season with their mates in reach but they have to abstain. It's going to feel like every fiber in your body is telling you to go to your mate. But you guys have to make it through the season." Eliza finished and awaited our answers. Monel and I both agreed and decided to work outside since it was so open we couldn't do anything. Gosh were we wrong! Within a second I was on top of him and I was desperately grabbing at his collar. His hands were all over my back and waist. He grasped at my waist making me only want to kiss him deeper. My hands were now on his shoulders and I was rubbing them like there was tomorrow. I felt the movements of the hands on my back quicken as if he was trying to make a map of my back in his head in less than a second. My hands dropped to his chest and I was completely helpless. Those hands of his were under my shirt and in my front now. Going higher than before. I was ready to move on but then remembered my mother's Allura's words. "Your first mating season make sure you don't sleep with your mate!" "Monel wait!" I said as I felt his hand on the clasp of my bra. "We can't! I love you but we need to wait." "As long your here I'm willing to wait centuries!" Monel said beaming at me.
