Marisol was outside water her pants that she planted. It was her parents' favorite flowers. She smiled sadly at the flowers as she barely knew her mother of father. She only knew them through stories that her Abuela told her growing up. She looked up to see her close friend Mirabel singing with her papa and Tio. "Two guys fell in love with family Madrigal. And now, they're part of the family Madrigal. So, yeah, Tío Félix married Pepa. And my dad married Julieta." Abuela Alma walked over as Mirabel sang, "That's how Abuela became an abuela Madrigal. Let's go, let's go." She walked over to Mirabel who was surrounded by kids and Marisol said, "Are they kids curious once more?" Mirabel nodded as she sang, "So many kids in our house, so, let's turn the sound up
You know why? I think it's time for a grandkid round-up. Grandkid round-up!" Marisol then joined and sang, "Dolores can hear a pin drop. Camilo shape-shifts, Antonio gets his gift today. Her older siblings Inigo and Luisa. One strong, one graceful, perfect in every way."
Marisol walked over back to her flowers only to be stopped and see more of her parents' flowers. She looked to see Inigo smiling at her and she smiled back mouthing thank you as Inigo bowed his head and walked away. She turned to her left to see Mariano talking to Dolores. The two had been engaged for some time now and she couldn't be happier for her brother. But she always wondered if she was ever going to get the same love as her brother. Of course, she thought that Inigo was charming, Kind, and handsome but there is no way that he would ever look at her in that way. She grabbed a basket and headed more into town to buy groceries when she saw Mirabel singing, "Huh, well, I gotta go, the life of a Madrigal. But now, you all know the family, Madrigal. I never meant this to get autobiographical. So just to review the family Madrigal, let's go. It starts with Abuela, and then Tía Pepa, she handles the weather. My mom, Julieta, can make you feel better with just one arepa. My dad Agustín, well, he's accident-prone, but he means well. Hey, you said you want to know what everyone does I got sisters and cousins and."
She saw that Mirabel was running away from the kids but kids being kids they were persistent about knowing her powers. "My primo Camilo won't stop until he makes you smile today. My cousin Dolores can hear this whole chorus a mile away. Hey, look, it's my best friend. You marry my brother if you want to. But between you and me his kind of a Primadonna and now I have said too much, and I really have to go." With Mirabel's fast-talking, Marisol couldn't comprehend what Mirabel said and had to take a moment to realize what she said. She groaned and regretted the decision of telling her best friend that she had a crush on her brother. After she grabbed all her things. She headed to the Madrigal house and walked inside only to be nearly trampled by Luisa. Then a burst of wind happened, and she hid all her fruit and veggies when she heard a voice saying, "Did someone say flowers." She saw Inigo come down on his vines making her smile softly.
She went to go stand by Mirabel who had this grumpy look on her face. Inigo then moved and nearly bumped into Marisol. "We can't keep bumping into each other Mi Sol." Marisol blushed at the nickname. Ever since at a younger age Inigo had called her that and it always made her blush. "I best go give this to you mom. Bye Inigo." Inigo nodded, getting out of Marisol's way but watched her leave making Mirabel groan and say, "Why does my older brother have to have a crush on my best friend." Inigo then started walking and said, "A little sibling advice if you weren't always trying so hard you wouldn't be in the way." Mirabel groaned more and muttered something then look at her brother and said, "Igo this is me helping." Mirabel started to walk away only to bump into a pole.
