Grian didn't answer Jimmy's question but instead told him he would find out. The rest of the day was normal and when the shop closed Grian decided he was going to go shopping.
When Grian was walking back to the apartment, a loud explosion happened and people were screaming. Grian groaned when this started happening. 'Never a dull moment in this city' he thought.
Grian was continuing to walk home until he heard a loud scream. He looked over and saw a little girl standing in the crowd screaming and crying. Grian didn't even looked back at his groceries when he started running towards her.
"Hey it's okay little girl," Grian said when he crouched down to her. She was trembling so Grian wrapped his wings around her. Grian looked up and saw a blast coming near him. He didn't want to use his powers so he sheltered the little girl from the blast even if it would damage his wings.
He waited for the blast to hit his wings but it never came. He looked up still shielding the little girl. He saw an arrow in front of him and saw the blast on the arrow. Grian looked at the arrow and then looked at where it came from.
Grian saw Hotguy standing with his bow pointing right in front of Grian. Grian looked at him and it looked like Hotguy was panting and put his bow down. Grian looked at Hotguy at what must of been in his eyes because he could have sworn he knew Hotguy.
Time Keeper came to Hotguy and told him that something but Grian couldn't hear. They ran away and Grian was confused. Grian then remembered the little girl and looked back at her.
"Hey sweetheart wanna see something cool," said Grian. The girl looked up at him and nodded but was still trembling.
"You must promise not to tell anyone ok," said Grian. She nodded and Grian held his hand out to show her his powers and she looked at it and smiled and giggled.
"Are you two ok," someone said behind Grian. Grian looked and saw Xalqin and frowned and put his hand down. Grian nodded and watched as the girl was taken to her parents and heroes had finally arrived.
"G are you ok," Xalqin said giving him a worried look. Grian looked at him and nodded while still looking at where Hotguy was.
