The protagonist's journey will make him discover the world, meet his companions and improve himself. What will happen during his journey and will he be able to achieve his goal?
After a journey partly by land and partly by sea Artoria reaches the road to reach Rimuru City. Silence reigns supreme in what was thought to be a busy street. The Hero of Light stops after getting a sense of something in the forest. She goes out of the way to see what's in the trees. As she approaches the goal she finds herself in front of a statue.

The sword of light lights up, blinding Artoria's eyes and immediately afterwards she finds herself behind a scene:
|Arthur Pendragon, the previous Hero, is dying...
He gives the sword to a knight, asking him to take it back to the lake, where it was obtained...
The knight returns reporting that he failed in his assigned task...
Come back a second time...
Only on the third attempt does he manage to return the sword to the lake...
And so the sovereign dies...
After his death the knight travels and travels around the world looking for a possible salvation so that that tragedy had not occurred.|
She reopens her eyes and finds herself back in the forest with the stone sculpture in front of her. She hears creaking and notices that the work is moving. From what was thought to be a simple statue emerges a flesh and blood body.

In front of Artoria the man kneels and pronounces the following words:
"It is an honor to meet you, new ruler and Hero of Light. My name is Bedivere. I was a knight of the Round Table in the service of Arthur Pendragon, the previous king. I have traveled far so that I could change that tragic ending, but my journey is ended up here in these woods. The Dark Hero sealed me so that I could awaken to fulfill his task. The seal would be broken when the new savior of the Light awakens. Once again, it is an honor to meet you, Artoria Pendragon."
The girl remains petrified by the appearance of one of her predecessor's companions. From Arthur's memories, however, there is nothing about this knight. She asks him to stand up, instead of remaining kneeling. Suddenly after getting up the two feel a presence among the leaves and become alert. A man with a horn on his forehead finds himself kneeling before them.
