The protagonist's journey will make him discover the world, meet his companions and improve himself. What will happen during his journey and will he be able to achieve his goal?
Artoria goes to look for Joan and finds her in a church outside Rome. With her were some children, from an orphanage, and a nun.

Joan bows before the sovereign and begins to speak:
"It is a pleasure to meet you, oh our lord and representative of light. I am Joan of Arc, a simple country girl. I thank the heavens for your presence in this sacred place. I ask you to bring your blessing to these people and to anyone who needs it. May God save this world from evil. May I know what brings you here?"
Moving to a more private place (inside the Church), but still hearing the children playing and laughing, Artoria continues:
"The pleasure is mine alone, Joan of Arc. As you already know, I am Artoria Pendragon, the Hero of Light and lord of these lands. I grant you my blessing, I will pray and do everything I can so that this world and its people can live happily and in peace. I have heard from many that you are a sincere and pure person, so much so that you are considered a saint. I am here to ask you, Joan, to be Nero's advisor and to follow her in her government."
From her clothes, Artoria immediately understood that she was not simply a country girl. The armor, the sword and even the symbol of the banner were immediately noticed.
Joan replies:
"Your words flatter me. I am honored to have been chosen by you, but unfortunately I must refuse. I have the task of completing the task of spreading the belief in the light of God. I must inform you that the Church firmly believes in the Hero of Light, but not in that of Darkness. According to believers, the dark is considered a necessary evil so that it can give greater importance to the Light. There are others who believe in a dark God, others in two gods, and there are many others. I must lead them on the right path and I cannot stop and stay here. This is my task. This is the task of the divine."
Artoria continues:
"I must thank the Dark Hero who helped me save these lands and its people from ruin. In my opinion he is not evil, but I do not want to impose my idea on you, but I want to inform you that Nero's advisor will not have to stay here, rather, she will have to travel mainly to fight against those who are evil. I want you to give your wisdom and strength to Nero, who will have to fight evil in these places, while I will have to go and control the other Kingdoms. I would ask you to accept."
Joan thought she could accept the queen's request, but she had doubts about her abilities and before she could speak, someone stopped her.
"You are right, the Darkness is a necessary evil." - words from afar are heard by the two girls.
A black sword is seen by the girls, who were looking for the voice, near a tree on a mountain. Both things have never been noticed by either Artoria or Joanna.

A shadow was sitting on a bench next to theirs.
"You are right, Joan of Arc. I, the Dark Hero, am here to prove you right. I am here to kill." - says a voice under the darkness.
Artoria recognizes the stranger's voice. It is the same one heard in the Domus Aurea. They stand up and look in that direction. Behind the shadow she sees a hooded man slowly coming out and another person behind them is noticed.

She attacks Joan and she protects herself using a stick attached to a banner. She looks around to see if the children and the nun are safe, but she doesn't see or hear them.
"What have you done?! Where is everyone?!" - she shouts to the stranger. No response.
The black hooded man quickly finds himself in front of Artoria ready to kill him, but she immediately draws her sword from its sheath, blocking the attack at the last minute. She notices the weapon that was visible elsewhere, but looking at that same point again there was nothing left. The two enemies begin to push forcefully, causing Artoria and Joan to find themselves back to back and, having no other choice, the second one has an idea.
"Luminosité Eternelle God is Here With Me."- Joan thus creates a barrier that pushes the enemies away from them. They themselves do not intend to overcome the barrier, but remain still to watch and with a gesture of the head the two say something to each other. The masked person disappears, while the other one remains.
"I'm sorry." - says the hooded one.
Suddenly a black hole appears under their feet and they are teleported out of the building together with the enemy. The missing woman was outside ready to do something.

"Excalibur Morgan, Sword of Promised Victory" - says the one who owns the black sword identical to Artoria's.
A great dark force coming from the blade is launched towards the Church and completely destroys it along with everything around it. The two girls were protected by the barrier so they did not suffer the effects of the impact, but even just looking at it, they were very shocked. Joan screamed a loud cry, crying desperately.
It was late at night. The masked woman, under the order of the dark hero, disappears again. Joan cannot stay standing and, traumatized, she looks at nothing but the ground dissolving the barrier. Artoria remains in front of her with the sword to protect her from the other remaining enemy. He turns, looking at them and says softly with his sword lowered:
"It is necessary to have the light of the stars to see them in the darkness."
